rootin powder or gel other uses

I was wondering if there is a way to use rooting powder/gels to add to an already rooting plant or newly rooted seedling? like what would happen if u mixed soil with powder(or gel if poss) or somehow applied it too the plants roots or watered it with rooting powder in the water/nutrient solution? is there any tricks besides cloning like makin bigger roots to really feed the plant,.Just an idea if anyone has anything help is appreciated.plus i couldnt find info anywhere:leaf:

I'm not sure if this would have the effect you want but I'm probably wrong. Can't see where it would hurt though.
If you want a bigger root system in soil just let the soil dry out in between waterings. This will encourage to grow more roots to search for water.
I would think for hydro you would cut back on the nutes, I don't do hydro so don't quote me. I was under the impression that one of the main benefits of hydro was that it eliminated the need for a large root system (for the baseball bat colas without a 20 gallon pot for each plant).

I had the same idea recently. At the same time I mixed up a couple gallons of fertilizer (Blue Mountian Organics, FP, SPT FH) I decided to add a small bit of Olivias Cloning Solution. (All I have currently) for 2+ weeks thereafter the plant, though completely healthy green, was sagging and losing 5+ green leaves a day. Its a bit after 2 weeks now and the losing of leaves has stopped, though the plant is pretty droopy. still. That being said, I think that something else might have caused it to stress and not the cloning solution. One sign pointing to the solution though is I only gave it to 1 plant and the plant that didn't receive it has been growing healthy, but I'm somewhat chalking that up-to that these two strains have been complete opposites this entire grow. So doesn't really answer your question but that's all the testing I've done so far. (Plan on doing more in the future but not in this run)
