We have 24 store bought clones in wich have grown at a rapid rate with very thick stems and healthy leaves. Approx 3 week into the vegatative stage underneath a 1000w HPS with lots of circulation. A few select leaves have began to grow a "rust" Color and a few have "Dead" spots that dry out. Going from Rust Color to Yellow to eventually brown.

We use Foxfarm soil and we use all 3 fox farm nuts. We have been following the feeding recommendations by "half" so as not to over nute. We are also using Roots Accelerator and half the recommended dosage.

More recently we have included a small amount of organic Molasses (1 tbsp) to our feed mixture.

We are using Distilled water with a balanced PH.

The RH is 60% and have been maintaining the perfect temperature of 75 F

We are watering every 3 days or so and feeding them once a week.

Thanks for reading and your advice would be appreciated.:leaf:

You need to add calmag if you are going to use RO filtered water. Get on it quick or they will go downhill fast.

Thanks.

We are watering with "Kirkland" Drinking water from Costco and adding FoxFarm nutes "Big Bloom" and "Grow Big"...we are also using Foxfarm soils as well. CalMag isnt included in Foxfarm nutes?

I checked my "tap water" ph and its really high but I have "PH Down" I can use to lower it....maybe tap water would be better for it????

Any other thoughts guys?

The problem is that RO filtering strips all of the calcium and magnesium out of the water, and the foxfarms lineup doesn't have enough. If you do a search for magnesium deficiencies you will find that it's a common problem. The tap water would help correct the deficiency, but you might run into other problems with your water. Oh btw, you can get RO filtered water a lot cheaper if you use the "water island" at the grocery store and refill your own containers. Hope this helps :leaf:

some strains seem to have this problem, its in the gentics and ive seen it mostly in Super Skunk strains where the little spots on some of the lower fan leaves start appearing shortly into flowering. What strain are you working with?
