new technique!!! have hairs after the first day of 12/12. also extreme seed germ...

well i dont know if this was done before.

me im an experimental person, and no matter what anybody tells me im always going to try new things.. and the way i want to.

I got hairs the very next day when i started 12/12 lighting.

what i did:

well i figured. as soon as you flip it thats when you start giving your flowering nutes correct?

well my theory was that if it was supplied with the nutes that it already needs. than they'll be set and ready to do what its gotta do..

My last week of veg i mixed in flowering nutes half strength. This way when i flipped to 12/12 it was already equipped with what it needed to start its job on the flowering phase...

Its like if you know theres a war coming, wouldnt you rally up the guns, and your army and get prepared first. than head to war? or would you wait til all chaos breaks lose than start preparing.. thats my little example..lol hope u like it. sorry i had no pics..all i had was a cell phone cam. with shitty quality.

also again i dont know if anybody had done this before. but i tried using Flora nova. Just a bit to give the water a light brown look. and threw and airstone in it. and 1 and half to 2 days laters. i had about an inch long tap root coming out...try it.. you wont be dissappointed..

just tryna help out guys..

+rep if you think ive helped..thanks:bigjoint::bigjoint:

I like the innovative idea. I can see where the logic in using the blooming nutes comes from. I'll have to experiment with this.

thanks..you should most definatly experiment with this..this is what i did..and i promise.. no games or lies.. No need for none of that. i got hairs they next day. i dont know if it was because of what i did.. all i know is that it happened. Im going to repeat my steps this time with a different strain and see what the outcome is. Next time ill have pics

Interesting. How old were the plants when you put them in to flower? What strain?
they did 42 days in veg..and strain unknown..its good shit tho..i bought them as clones..and the dumbass 4got the name..but hey its cool..hes a happy stoner. lol

Hmmmm - a 42 day old clone should be sexually mature enough to flower immediately when you switch. I've got a batch of Lemon Skunk vegging right now, they'll be going in to flower in a week and a half. Now I always veg my plants from feminized seed for eight weeks, and it always takes around five days to show hairs. I think I'll give this a try, and post the results here, if you don't mind.

yes, please do. Because i wanna know if what i did made this happen..or if it was just a coincidence...but still hairs the next day? i think it may have to do with the flowering nutes i gave it during last week of vegging.

anyways how far along are u in vegging?

oh you said you are about a week and a half away from flowering..so you currently are at the 6 1/2 week mark at vegging..correct?

I admire your innovative mind but I wanan know the age of your plant when put into flower since the age of plant plays a crucial part in early blooming plus the strain you are working with.

Once I used ADVANCED NUTRIENTS' Connoiseur( which is just for blooming cycle) right from the strat of veg in 2out of four plants

The result:

healthy plants which were a little bit bushier but greener than the control one which was on a 3 parts advanced nutrients and in blooming I did not notice any REAL difference in their speed to bloom and even the final crop.

I do not want to say you ware wrong since the result you had speaks for itself but for a conclusive result you need a CONROL group to compare with.

Your plant still needs a fair amount of nitrogen up until its 2 weeks into flowering.
I suppose introducing more P and K and less N would prepare it for flowering, but the question is whether it will hurt the plant in the long run.

You should post results of your harvest in future so we can see.

yes i will do the control thing next time. and take pics and post here. but i think it had alot to do with what u did.. Because every single plant had hairs coming out the very next day.

also the strain was unknown cause i stoner friend of my has many different strains and it happens that the one i got he had forgotten to label it or w.e i dunno. its good stuff tho..the buds looked beautiful.. and they were 42 days old when i flipped them

very well, i will post my harvest..as for it being hurt in the long run. i dont think so.. the plants are looking very healthy.. there green and lovely.. i should harvest in another 5 weeks or so...

check out my thread and throw in a guesstimate

monks is right tho, ur plant needs a decent ammount of nitrogen to get throo its stretching phase, youll notice it wont stretch much like it should most likely. witch wont give the plant much room inbetween nodes to fatten up in 'the long run'.

also im not using hoods. im using sockets which are side by side with the plants

Yep that's right, week six began this past Sunday. My plants will still be getting plenty of nitrogen, as I still give them veg nutes (at half strength) along with the flowering nutes, all the way through flower.
