Hey guys - just wanted to share pics of my KC36 plant.. It was planted from seed, super-cropped, and outgrew my buddy's grow space... So I had to adopt it.. It's a pretty sizey plant for me, but I'm going with it since it's the only one I have flowering now..

It went to 12/12, then started showing pistols shortly after.. First pistol observance was on Dec. 19th. Today is starting week six of flowering.. Looks a little bit behind to me but might have some indica mixed in so who knows.. Here's some pics of the plant:










It's got some Looooooong buds on it, so I have pretty high hopes of a decent yield out of her.

My Q is though - notice the curled tips? It's been like that ever since I got it.. I tried almost drying it out, giving more water, nutes, etc, leaves stay curly.. I've pretty much accepted that that's just how the plant is.. That hasn't stopped it from growing, it was growing about an inch a day for a little bit.. Now it's slowed down and the buds are getting fatter.

Any comments/tips/suggestions/questions are welcome!

400w HPS, GH Flora series - in the middle of the second phase. Also gave it a small shot of calmag last week. It's first pot was a 2.5gl and it was soil/perlite.. I transplanted it into a 5gl of coco/perlite, so it's now a sort of mixture of the three.

It's definitely growing well so I'm not too concerned.. Just haven't seen it before in any previous grows. Some leave tips are curling up, some are curling down, some are normal. Maybe it's just the plant. I dunno. Anyways... Hoping for at *LEAST* 2oz dry on this one.. I just harvested a MK that was a lot smaller and got 1.6oz out of it. This one is already looking to surpass that.

Ill be honest, I think kc36 is just a shitty strain, at least for indoors. I think thats the problem and although it is probably the easiest strain to clone it shows many pistols and takes a long time to fully mature. Since you already have it, my advice is to keep growing it for as long as possible and cut off the nutes soon as it will go yellow and curl before maturation

that kc could go 10 weeks possibly and u deff will have at vry least 2 zipps. good show with the brains u dont c it grown vry often , start a grow log ill scribe . just a little nitro def i wood say ,let it dry out good before u water/feed :leaf:

Just a little update.. Here we are into the 10th week of flowering. Checked this morning and all the trichs are cloudy, no more clear, and only saw one or two ambers.. I think I'm going to give it till this Friday then chop. This Friday will be week 11 on the dot.

She really bulked up since the last update!! :D







I'll update with a harvest report next week!

Looks as if you overfert the plant.

And I hope you have drainage holes in the bottom of your bucket.

I really don't think I over-fertilized it - what makes you say that?? It hasn't had any nutes in over a week, and before that it would get nutes every second watering or every 8-10 days.

So what makes you think it's over-nuted?

And of course there's drain holes, what do you think I am? haha

nice girl you got there...please post info of dry weight...also how was the strain? as far as growing it goes?

i knew that kc wood do it :hump: thats gonna b vry kind bud id go ahead and give it a nice 10 gallon flush to make shure shes as nute free as possible=smooth tasty weed :joint: nice pics !!

I can't wait for the final product :) My buddy has a clipping off it in veg that's bigger than this one and still vegging :)

And I did a 16 gallon flush with just a little molasses in the last gallon :)

I'll be sure to update with dry weight in a couple weeks.

First I got nute burn, now light burn :)

I'm pretty sure it's normal right now for a plant about to be harvested.

Speaking of which, this morning I broke out the old cyber-eye and spied some amber trichs. I also spotted a few spidey mites walking around - she dies tonight. I will take this time to clean out the closet and insecticide it. This is the last plant right now - might as well clean it.
