unlike some people we all dont live in calli where clones are 30 bucks we are stuckl buying clones for 100 a pop which i wont do but i do recommend worldwide marijuana company great genetics got my seeds in the male yesterday already had one crack this morning when i checked on it

actaully i live in oregon, and only donate about 15 dollors a clone if that, but i get what ur sayin i wouldnt pay 100 for 1 clone, all though it could still be cheaper then ordering seeds, if u grow that one into a mother and then clone the shit out of it, but nort everyone knows how to clone and i am one of the thoughs people. where in the world would a clone cost 100 dollors

Feminized seeds are fantastic. They don't get these seeds from hermies they get them from GENETICALLY female plants that they force to hermie. Then they pollinate a different female that hasn't hermied.
Would you rather buy 10 regular seeds and hope for the best on female count? Or would you rather get 10 feminized seeds and know you are going to have 10 females? Some strains are notorious for hermie problems with feminized seeds (blueberry is one that comes to mind), but I would rather have a hermie than a male. Granted, I still kill the hermies, but they are FAR less common than males in regular seeds.
They save a lot of time and headache.

I ordered mine from dope-seeds.com 10 fem. ICE seeds put one seed in soil to veg just to see if it will be fem and if so will be my mother. Well it got off to great start put in soil on 24 light till it pops it popped and has two not one plant from one seed pic on my profile. Hopefully it a sign of great things to come will post pics every month. Usually got clones from a friend isn't cheap so fig give it a shot and then turn the tables lmao.

i've grown out around four or five femmed strains, from all different breeders and have not had one hermie yet.. i love femmed seeds... like the above posters said, so much easy then having to weed out all of the males from regular seeds.. i am always reading that over in europe femmed seeds are huge as they don't have access to clones like a lot of people in the states do... i don't live somewhere where clones are easily bought and sold either, and also love femmed seeds..

yea clones in my area go for $100 and i suck at cloning so seeds for me, i would rather buy regular seeds and then breed them to have more seeds just my opinon

First of all the latter opinion on feminized seed is correct. They are great and there is real science in feminizing a seed.
Second, I've been smoking for 2 decades and I've never, ever, ever had the ability to buy a clone and I live in a pretty big city with plenty of smokers and I'm sure plenty growers. So I can't say what I'd pay for a female clone. Maybe a C-note . . .
Third, I'd rather buy the ten feminized seeds and not was all the time, money and effort to grow 10 plants til' bloom just to weed out the males. Way too much fkn wrk considering the alternative.
Fourth, IL is looking like the next state to legalize medicinal cannabis use. The third reading is set to go up in the house in march. If you live IL write, lobby, vote, call you congressman, etc. Pretty soon we can have the majority of states re-legalizing cannabis. It's one of the greatest natural plants that one could use. I know I'm preaching to the choir but I think too many peeps are just sitting back waiting for everyone else to do the work while they just get high.
I'm not trying to put anyone off, just wanna illustrate that the lazy "pot head" stereo type is what we're working to overcome!

So, how about this. If you're on your game, the worst that can happen from a hermie is that you kill it. The worst that happens from a male is that you kill it. This is of course assuming you're paying enough attention to the plants to catch them before they pollinate your crop.
So, with that said, the result of a hermie and a male are the same. So, logically, the penalty to your grow from either is also the same. So now it's on to how often you can expect either to estimate your average yield. You've got a roughly 50/50 chance of getting a male from normal seeds, so your yield will be about 50% of what you plant. For hermies there's no hard and fast statistic, but even if it's something really high like 10% from feminized seeds, that's still a 90% yield, which is an 80% increase in effectiveness.
So, even if femmed seeds produce hermies, as long as the hermie rate is less than 50%, they are better than normal seeds.

ive never paid it personally but i no off people who have paid £100-£250 for exodus cheese clones.

i would never order froma seed bank all the seeds are to expensive fem or not, and yes i would rather have ten regualr seeds, grow till i find sex, toss males and then just clone, i am also a mmj patient though so i know legel people to get seeds and clones from for a much cheaper donation. however i am not dissin on fem seeds or seed banks or any one who uses them, i know lots of people who use them with succses,

i personally have had bad experiences with fem seeds, 1 batch was all hermi, another time i had some fem seeds in with some fem clone and the fem seeds went hermi and pollinated the clones.
ive also never seen great yields from them but that wasnt me growing them and could have been the way they were grown.
i think its best to buy regulars and sex em then make a mother and clone but thats just imo.
