there is some nute burn...the pH was swinging like crazy when i had the slime and it took me a couple weeks to get rid of the root slime..i think i had cases of nute lockout and then once i got rid of the slime they got some nute burn...have backed off the nutes and the very tops look good

They look not so bad but the key for sog is not that you need a specific sized plant, you just need a massive root system. Even if the plant gorwth is slow and is like 6 inches high and there is a nice root system then it is ready for flower. Also heat/nutes/water and all other stress during flowering period will decrease the yeild dramaticaly.

I'd say, test everythings out while in vegetation so there is no loss in yeild if stress or other sorts of things happen.

You might want to look on RO DI water filter. Plants look much more healthy and water is much more stable after filtration. I had to ajust my ph 3 times a day with the tap water and it tooks lots more ph down than by now, i ajust it everyday or so with few drops.

As for slime, root rot ect.. you might want to add some Hydrogen Peroxide into your rez. I use some 35% but be carefull, you can bleach your skin and kill your plant instantly if not used properly.
You can also add more air to the root zone.

By the pictures i'd say lower the light to 12 inches if possible, and if you had nute burns at 700ppm at 4wks flowering im pretty sure your water is very hard or high in calicium.

Is the system dwc or aero?
- if dwc, do you run any air stones?
- if aero, what is your watering cycle?

Good luck.

From looking it looks like they are just about to come out of stress nicely and take off.

It is an AeroFlo2 18 site so it runs 24/7 with a chiller keeping the water temp at 68...I am hoping they will start to takeoff soon and bulk up. Of course I would like to see huge colas but short and fat is fine as long as it turns out to be good smoke.

Do you have a RO?

If not, whats the ppm of your tap water? And do you let the water sit for 48 hours?

If root zone is not white and nice add some H2O2 Peroxide OR run a timer on your pump (1min ON, 5 min OFF) this may help as well. Also when slime starts to built, lower the water temp this also helps.

B1 vitamis helps a lot in the recovering process, such as B52 from AN or SuperThrive.

I'd suggest that your flower those girl a little longer than expected because they are not so huge for their age. Let them grow, look at tricomes.

LOWER YOUR LIGHT AS LOW AS YOU CAN

Cheers.

leftorium I got a case of the root snot/slime .... a clear slime that appeared all over the root zone...it suffocates the roots and prevents nute uptake.
