im also buying this same system, with 4 seedlings under 3 43w cfls.....lets hope together:weed:

my seedlings are blowing up there 8 days old and have a pretty good 2nd set of jagged leafs

i am highly impressed, my space is in my closet, and is almost exact to yours.......except im going soil. nice tho dude, makes me look forward to getting my setup....

The only advice I have is

LST LST LST

I started out with CFLs and once I moved to the HPS things exploded and now I've been fighting for every mm of space against plants that are 2 feet taller then my box now.

So if you're in space similar to mine, and not growing an extremely short strain just LST early and often and you should be able to keep things far away from this light. It doesn't get that /hot/ but it does get hot enough to do damage to my leaves at 2-3 inches or so

my closet is 6 feet wide and 3 feet deep i just hope that the 150w HPS will bud 2-3 plants with decent results, i really hate swag

you're gonna want that closet to be more like 2 ft 3 inches by 2 ft 3 inches for 150 hps...

you could go with the 150watt hps on top, and 4-6 42 watt daylight CFL's on the sides, 1-2 inches from the foliage..... that'll take you all the way to flower i think..... that's prob good for 3 plants tops....

i just might have to put the 150w HPS over top and take the two 4 foot fluorescents and give them side lighting IDK i think im worrying to much about it right now. there kicking ass right now, just under 3 40 watt 4 foot fluorescents there growing fast. every thing i read says to be useing T5 bulbs but all my research shows that T5's put out 2000 lumen's and my bulbs witch are T12 are putting out 1900 lumens

lol yeah i closed off the back corner of my closet off with a door and roof, painted the inside white, put hooks everywhere for lights.....just waiting for my light :/ absolutely cant wait....lemme know how it goes for u in the future
