after seeing how it affected only one person, they drug him out back and shot him, then stopped all the research on marijuana... i was just being sarcastic with my comment, i like that part of the movie but it's basically a comedic portrayal of the government's irrationality on the subject

My music teacher said they made weed illegal to get rid of all the mexicans in the country that were taking all the good jobs during the great depression lol.I think she was kind of racist though so I dont really believe that.
I could really care less about how it became illegal more about getting it legal

I'm not saying that's what happened haha, i'm honestly not sure how it happened... it is just a funny thought that if it all came down to one guy like that he definately was the one who would have screwed us over. just a sarcastic comment to go along with the movie clip.. on another note.. does anyone know the trught behind how and why it became illegal?
