Thanks for the tip. They took off after I tried it. How long did you flower yours? Here are the updates. I am thinking about 1 1/2 more weks.

I am adding a link so you can see what mine are doing. I have 4 and I pulled only 2 out so far. The other two are going on day 70 and still getting heavy coated with trichs, no amber, well maybe 2 % and getting fat and loving life. I might go as far as 75 days on the last 2 but do come see what I wrote, it might help.

Can you take some pictures in more natural lighting or is there some way to change your camera settings to compensate for the HID? It is really hard to see the detail because of the lighting. On some of the pictures, some of the leaves look crispy showing maybe an overnute or ph problem. It is hard to say though because of the lighting.

Alright guys I got back on wednesday from vacation so I am sorry I was not able to give updates while I was out of town. Had the maid taking care of them for me. Let me know what you think. I got a radio shack 60-100x magnifying glass like someone said and it does not seems to work. I think I might have overferted them a bit. I did use organics nutrients though so hopefully it will not make too much negative impact on the plant. I was gonna wait til week 9 and then see how they look. Anyone got any ideas about that radio shack microscope? Also, I followed your advice on using a more natural light. Hope you guys enjoy. Much better with the lighting. The plants are a lot easier to see. Definitely cut back on the nutes a bit, some of the leaves look pretty crispy. They look great otherwise, looks like you have a few weeks left before the chop.
I have the same microscope and it works fine for me. Use the lowest magnification setting and use the knob on the body to focus. Try it on your desk and if it doesn't work, something is wrong with the microscope. They're pretty easy to use, so you may have a defective one.

I use my scope at night so it lights up the area I am looking into, then I turn it all the way in then back it off till I see the trichs then I move my scope back and forth instead of trying to dial in each time.
I just finished day 71 and as of last night (day 70) there where still very little amber to be found. I am keeping those two in there until I see 50/50.
I did take one down at day 64 and one down at day 67, Oh and I took a bud at day 61 to try it and it was good to go, for up high. The one at day 64 (plant) is great long lasting high, day 67 plant still drying for another 6-8 hrs.

My advice on this strain is to be very patient and allow her to finish. Try not think how many days she has been in there but watch the trichs. Dud they are getting GOO everywhere, and they look great. Keep playing with your scope get use to it. Look at other plants and stuff.

Used the microscope as you said and there is no amber so I am sure I got awhile left.
Also, I can't get my bamboo shoots to stay in the soil right they keep moving and not holding up the BULGING BUDS. LOL Any suggestions? These gals are getting heavy and if I still have awhile then I think I may need some help.

No I am good. I am willing to wait for whatever it takes. I like to see the progress. They really are the best looking plants on earth and their illegal for some people. It is so stupid.

Tuned in, i have some VK seedlings and am happy w/ them so far. After seeing this post and the links in it, im beyond happy and cant wait to get them into flower.
Have any of you guys cloned VK yet? Ive read that some people have a hard time cloning the strain.

Yeah I think we were talking about that on one of my two threads. I have not tried. I am sure the conditions have alot to do with it. I would make sure to get some cloning gel and keep them really moist. Make sure to let me know how it works for you though.
