very 1st grow, the cheese ,any advice welcome

lookin great bishop
how long r u gonna flusg for,im gonna go for 7 days
do u have any idea how many oz a plant yur gonna get
its doin my head in,cant wait to find out how much i get
your plants build up nutrients so it takes 21 days to completly flush your plants otherwise you'll have a plant taste smell to your cannabis

cheers cap :)2.5- 3oz dry would be real nice off the big mother as theres fat buds everywhere but we will see m8. she should easy do 1.5-2oz cant wait and will post results
...and yeah we were gonna do that mike an go 2 weeks minimum but we using that stuff called final flush which helps remove the salts/ nutes and is supposed to speed things up.
we've done a few days on that...changed the water last night and now just on plain water till shes done.weve been on flush a week now .the leaves still goin lighter an lighter green an got 2 yellows low down

never used it an never grown before so dunno if it works yet

just hope we get these amber trichs soon
an dont overdo the buds so will keep posting pics incase we miss sumthin

30x mag should be here tomorrow for trichs

more pics later guys

peace:leaf:

i like to use a 60-100 x scope to look @ trichs this is why some of those look amber and then the same one looks clear depending on the angle if you feel me radio shack has a 60-100x scope for like 12 bucks that works pretty damn good too me its the only way to be sure i got 2020 vision and be struggling with anything less looking great thou m8

give em a week is my guess some overall things you can use if you dont wanna look from the trichs is hairs recening to calx , calx's swollen looking almost seeded, and the plant to look like "its ready to smoke" right then if you feel me

i see tons of pictures that show only milky trichomes and not many if any amber. its a personal thing but some big timers wait till all milky then chop. 9 weeks should be done but whats a few more days now. lookin great. good for you

hey mike,,bigsky cheers for keep dropping in an keepin an eye on us lol;-) and yeah we see what you mean about whats goin on when you look at trichs @ 100x.nice bit of kit we got and we did only have clear trichs throughout

as you both say she should be done but now discovered what our big mistake was

..too much (n) in our fert and weve only just realised that nitrogen can slow /stop flowering and think thats why she wasnt goin yellow at all and not dropping leaves....

we had her on bloom+boost for weeks and our bloom has lots of (n) in it.
so now took tray 2 of bloom and only on boost

anyways now 3rd yes 3rd week flushing and itll be week 10 tomorrow and we finally startin to see some yellow.funny thing is she started growing more buds and now they filling out more..and we are now gettin milky trichs fast so thats a relief.

so another lesson learned and wondered does this sound right to you guys about the nitrogen in the fert holding us back on the buds...would also explain why there goin 6x bigger the plants.found this on here somewhere

( Macro-nutrients Nitrogen (N) is primary to plant growth. Plants convert nitrogen to make proteins essential to new cell growth. Nitrogen is mainly responsible for leaf and stem growth as well as overall size and vigor. Nitrogen moves easily to active young buds, shoots and leaves and slower to older leaves. Deficiency signs show first in older leaves. They turn a pale yellow and may die. New growth becomes weak and spindly. An abundance of nitrogen will cause soft, weak growth and even delay flower and fruit production if it is allowed to accumulate. )

more pics anyway and hope the mothers are now on there final push.check clones in tray 2 how green the leaves are.again too much bloom (N)now on boost only at 1 month in so hopefully get all the nitrogen out of them

pics taken lights out so you can see colours better

you know ima keep my eye on things help anyway i can bro never a problem as far as the nit issue dont let all the nit deplete and my boy on here uncle ben recomends keeping your leaves green through flowering other things can slow growth that doesent mean nessisarily that it was nit you leaves should pale but they dont (have) to drop nitrogen is needed all way throu grow just diff levels promote diff response good and bad you might wanna try backing off of cannabis nutes and goto general gardening nutes im only using bat quano now i got it for veg and flower just diff types/ levels of nutes

hey cheers for the quick reply mike..yeah since the leaves are yellowin m8 things are startin to happen ..espescialy the triches as it was puzzling us..think we took care of all the other things stunting us like cold & air flow etc,,,

over in tray 2 we got the leaf tips curling under like horns and deep green so defi think too much (N) was the enemy here

anyway sorted now hopefully :?:we will wait her out sum more hehe

peace:leaf:

i just follow the fox farm feeding schedule almost to a T. only never start at 100% and every other watering. seems to work very well for me. started my flush the other day.
