help with ph ppm

hello im new to the hydro scene i need tho know what the ph and ppm should be. im using a ebb anf flow kit with advance nutrients and rock wool also might switch to hydroton .. my main concern is i need a feeding schedule for my plants like when to feed light on off ? how long . anything will help .. im a pro with the soil but want bigger yield thanks

Many people will tell you diiferent Ph levels but i think in general they will tell you 5.5-6.5 is a good startand as far as ppm........... !!!???

Are you using clones or starting from seed?

If clones... as long as they are rooted they can handle "big plant" ppm....

If from seed start at 300 ppm and work up slowly.. back off IMMEDIATELY if you see burns...

As for pH.. the target is 5.8... I let mine vary from 5.6 to 6.2...:bigjoint:

How many times you flood (NEVER IN THE DARK PERIOD) depends on the medium you are using..

Anything involving RockWool should only be flooded once a day...

Hydroton can take 3 or 4 a day without issues...:bigjoint:

I clone in RW cubes and put them in hydroton pots like this...;-)

My target pH is always 5.8. That's the easy one for most, but opinions always vary. PPM, on the other hand, depends on what stage of growth you're, which nutrients you're using, etc. Have you checked out Advanced Nutrient Calculator?
