umm i was told it was purple haze but last i heard that stuff is rare so i doubt this guy (shady character ) would have it so i guess its bagseed. lol

well right now im using 168 watts of 2700k cfl and ill most likely add at least 80 more to finish up the job(and yes iv been using 2700k bulbs for veg. {highest watt i could find are 42 and its 2700k) i know your not supposed to use 2700 instead of 6500k for veg but it works just fine as you can see.(probably would grow a little quicker though) and unfortunetly its not worth it to take a cutting atm because by the time it shows sex it will be time to flower anyways

Looking good! For flower though i would use HPS...I'm not talking cuz I read some crap bout HPS beeing the best...ive done CFL grows with 400W and it isnt even near to the results of 400W HPS! But if u wanna flower using CFL, get as many in there as u can..LOL!

lol i cant afford an hps (though i have see 70watters around for 17 bux a bulb but then i need the socket ) and i do have the ability to add another 8 40 watt bulbs if needed hopefully that will be enough

time for an update, i trimmed my big plant a bit(i know your not supposed to cut many fan leaves off but there is a reason i did it(each of the FOUR main branches has 2 -3 new branches growing) i included a picture of my clippings just to show how much i cut.
has grown a ton since cutting off the less useful fan leaves. i do have a gnat problem so i wont be watering for a few days and i added a container of whine with plastic wrap over it(with some really small holes) to catch the adults(seen this done with fruit flies but i dont know how different gnats and fruit flies are because as much as i can see they look the same. anyways, what yall think?

ps i have topped like 4 times so i wont be surprised if it gives up and goes male but if it does go female im sure it will have a ton of bud sites

just dont trim too much at one time, might stress the plant, and also dont take away too much leaves either, plants get ther energy through the leaves

EDIT: Also, how close to the plant u keeping ur lights? U can easily keep CFL's as close as 1-2 inches away from the tops.

my lights are more like 5-6 inches because i am actually TRYING to get it to grow taller its only like 4 inches taller than the soil line right now but that probably my fault for lsting most of the branches. anyone els ever see a 4 main stem plant? and also i figure im done cutting for a wile

U dont want them to stretch...dont messure ur success in how tall ur plant is, especially not if u LST xD

lol i love that"keep it low" so keeping it short wont hurt yields or anything like that? cuz im not expecting to get much with my cfls in the first place (hence the long veg time) and i wouldn't want to loose out on yield if it is a girl

Dont veg it for too long though...those CFL's dont penetrate too far "into" the plant + first 3 weeks or so of flower, it is gonna stretch. Are there any drainage holes in the bottom of ur "pot"/bucket?!

the bucketis an old horse feeding bucket my gf had laying around. i heated a butter knife and melted about 10 holes in the bottom. lol she dont know that part

Thx! I just wanted to try LST on 1 plant...shes under a 200W CFL, if u look in my growjournal (u'll find it in my sig) ull see the diffrence when grown under 400W HPS vs LST under 200W CFL.

Heres few pics so u get an idea what kinda CFL im using, last pic is for u to see the diffrence in size vs 400W HPS bulb =)

lol ur cflis a little more hi tech than mine as you can see from my earlier pic, im using spiral 40w cfls and a pie plate reflector lolbut it gets the job done. some people say you cant grow under 2700k for veg but thats all im using
