Okay man ya i was actually thinking of going that route just wanted to hear some other people recommend it as well.
Where do you buy it from, i am thinking of just getting it off amazong for around $52 with shipping, Home Depot nutes suck... I think i may use the rest of what i have (miracle grow and some organics from Home Depot) on some outdoor stuff it will be my first outdoor grow coming up.

FF is great for soil but sucks for hydro. Turns the water nasty and makes the roots brown and slimy. If you want to deal with that, be my guest but I won't do it. Yuck!

I switched to Humboldt Master nutes and I haven't looked back. Organic nutes are cool and all but should be reserved for soil grows, IMO.

Anyone else feel the same way? I just want to make a wise investment so I don't need to switch I failed to do research in the beginning and have Home Depot Nutes and i realize they suck, Miracle grow = shit.

General Hydroponics, Flora and Micro 1-1 for veg and 2-1 eventually 3-1 and 4-0 for bloom... thats it 2 bottles dun

GH works great for me...I use the nute calculator on their website and the results are fantastic. Just have to flush for about 7 - 10 days to get al the chemicals out

I've been doing dwc hydro and soil for a while now,and the best nute solutions for Veg. VS Bud nutes in DWC is as follows, Best having RO (reverse osmosis) which allows very low water ppm, Fox Farm veg. which does not make your roots all slimy and black,it is a chemical, fast nitrogen absorbing solution, and the color of it is aqua not black::: Now,your going to need a catalyst right? right, people say it's bad to mix organic and chemical nutrients because one might block out the other? wrong, your going to need some kind of catalyst so it's either,"KARMA", OR, "FLORALICIOUS". Karma is an organic catalyst vs floralicious which is chemical. A catalyst helps facilitate all your essential nutrient to be taken up by the plant at approx. double the rate. Thats what you need for your veg., now for your Flowering I've found it best to use Floranova, which is a chemical fertalizer, and to use karma in conjunction with that at smaller lvls than veg. I've gotten the best results by using this formula, I hope it'll work for you. STay Up OregOn. Dont leagalize marijuana. Smoke joints.

General Hydroponics is the only nutrients I have used and I must say they work great.Should cost you about 40 bucks for all three.Happy growing my friend

I use canna nutes and couldnt be happier.
I tried GH, Advanced nutrients, and botanicare and none were as easy to use (for me) as Canna. Canna nutes are made specially for DWC. It doesnt dye the roots or make the solution nasty.

Yep, I would not recommend FF nutes for hydro either. I also in general NEVER recommend organic nutes for hydro systems. chemical nutes work much better. I would suggest you go with General Hydroponics line of nutrients. They are reasonably priced, and an excellent product. That's what I use, and I get excellent results. Just take a look at one my grow albums on my profile to see for yourself. :-)
