So I just upgraded pretty big when the plant limit laws were ruled unconstitutional... Right now I have a closet about 7'x2'x9'ft tall. I built some tables to cut the room into two; one with 70inches of height and one with 40 for vegging. I am running a 1000W HPS hortilux on a a 4foot rail. It has a 4in inline vortex sucking air into the attic as well as two small 6in normal fans. The bottom vegging chamber is an 8bulb 4ft T5 that is vegging 8 plants and some clones. I grow in soil and use a combination of nutes like floranova, cal mag, root 66, bud candy... I currently have about 14 strains that I am trying out to pick some good mothers for the next couple of goes. some of the ones Im ecited about are Chem Dawg, Double Underdog, Blue Dream, Grape Ape, Hash Plant, Green Crack, and Mr. Nice. I have 5 going into flowering and in one month I will fill the flowering chamber with the rest.
The only thing I have left to figure is how to light proof the room I have to make two doors, one for the top and one for the bottom, I am thinking mylar with a combination of velcro and zippers. Yall let me know what you think. I will put pix up today, yall let me know if there is anything I could do better. I just put all this up last week after only running the 1000w solo over 6plants the whole time. I plan on adding a carbon filter in the attic and hopefully co2
