Depends on what State you are in. Why would you put it in a clearing its a greenhouse?

Suppose you had a spot in a wide open field that gets ulimited sun. Suppose that spot were in the Portland Oregon area and so hasd long days during summer. Would it be a good idea to use a greenhouse in that case, so that they don't get TOO much sun?

Threadjack!

If you have the land for a green house that's how I would do it..

theres no such thing as to much sun. the more sun the better.

I was worried that I may not be able to visit often enough to water if it gets all day sun. Plus, it would be nice to have a greenhouse just in case the rain/cold comes earlier in the autumn than expected. I theorized a greenhouse with its east/southeast facing side exposed would be best so that the sun will dry off the morning dew that we get every morning (preventing loss due to mold/bud rot) yet shade it a bit as the hot days drag on.

Just a stoned thought, no experience to back it up
