Well im using 5 25 watt cfl's and 2 5' flourescents that are 40 watts each. my 4 plants are in a 3 foot planter and im about to transplant them into individual planters for flowering in which im waiting for my 400w hps from htg supplys
any advice on transplanting ??

Well... I am looking at My code book right now, haha if you have one you can follow along... (you dont want one)

any size 14 awg wire rated at either 60, 75, or 90 degrees C. can work with a 20 amp circuit. Which means, the wire is rated to withstand the 20 amps that would be going through it!

However.... The code permits that if you have 14 awg wire, the overcurrent protection cannot exceed 15amps. which poses your possible problem. It will work, but it wont be to code... which, unless you have an electrical inspector coming and tearing up your walls to see what size wire you have... youre going to be fine.

The code does not allow the use of 14 guage wire in a 20 amp circuit for good reason. The code isn't written for inspectors, its written for fire protection. The ampacitys in the table you are looking at don't take environmental factors into consideration. If you have 14-2 NM-B(romex) loaded at 20 continous amps in an insulated wall, the wire will rise in temperature.
