Title was suppost to read: "Buds very dry while **Curing** Is this a problem? sorry about that.
So I hung my plants for about 6 or 7 days and the stems snapped 3/4 the way through. The buds have been in jars for 4 days and for the first day and a half I burped them for an hour every twelve hours. I kept thinking they'd draw moisture from the inside of the stems to the outside of the buds. So for the last 2 and 1/2 days I've barely opened the jars. The only reason i've opened them is to see if they've gotten any less crispy. What should I do? I'm debating on 2 different things. I already put it all into much smaller jars filled 80% to the top.
1. Put a piece of damp papertowl on the lid of the jars and leave for 24 hours and then start the burping process again.
2. Don't open jars for like 48 hours and see how they're doing.
PS- How many days into curing before you guys really start to get that stank back?
