hi all my first grow,she is 1 bushy girl with buds everywhere you look! not tall 3ft high x 3ft wide she is called aftershock new breed i think, white widow x calafornia orange.i have 4 other girls in the room with her wich are just going into bud they are all white widow.just want to hear your thoughts how much you all think i might get off her,as it is my first grow,she is at week 5.

thanks,i was allso reading it is better to let white widows go 9 to 10 weeks for flowering, as this is a cross breed from the white widow do you think i should do the same?

the flowering time listed by seed banks is only an estimate under perfect conditions. look up the harvesting section in the faq for visual guides as to when to chop. also, invest $10 in a radio shack microscope to follow the change in color of the trichomes - when they are 50% amber you are close to being ready.

allso sombody told me to switch my lights down to 8 hours, a week before harvest,so the plant uses its last bit of energy putting on extra thc,any thoughts on this please.

there's a study done somewhere on this site where they compared 12/12 to 10/14 and got half the thc production as 12/12. so no, i wouldn't cut the light time

thanks,means a lot to me,i have been reading about curing and nearly all people use glass jars,is there any diff in using glass jars or plastic,i have some big plastic tubs will they be ok?

Glass jars are better because they have a air tight seal. You can get a dozen big ones at walmart for 20 bucks. Trust me buddy you are going to need alot of jars! Its a good thing !! To get a nice sweet flavor dry for about a week then put into jars. Open them for about 15 mins 3 times a day for the first two weeks. If they feel moist when you open them, lay out your buds on a tray for a day. For the best cure it takes about a month, if you can keep from smokin it all.

sorry i got 1 more question,can i dry my weed in my grow room, as long as it is in the dark with air flow?

Sure, wherever you have space. Just dont let the humidity be too high.

humidity in my room is normally between 45%-50% will that be ok for drying.
