yah, you can surely get some nice dank without using co2.. i would think that more people don't use co2 than those who do, but maybe i am wrong on this, but i doubt it. co2 really won't affect the quality of your mj, just the quanity of it.. co2 will just make your plants grow bigger faster.. i think that most of the dankness of a plant comes from its genetics, although some of it surely comes from the grower and the environment.. its the old nature vs nutrure thing..

just a side note on co2.. if you ever decide to give it a try, the plant can only use the extra co2 during the lights on period.. they use co2 during photosynthesi only.. so if you have a nice set-up with a regulator and all, you will only want to use in when the lights are on.. this is one of the downsides of using yeast and sugar as it continues to produce co2 when the lights are out and the plant is not getting any benefit from it..

Another "poorman option" that does work:

1 Get one of those old styrofoam (i know very un-green) coolers and put a hole or two in the top.

2 Fill and maintain dry ice in the cooler.

The CO2 will evaporate and escape through the hole you provided. This works well for any contained space. Best of luck.
