hey bro

i just wanted to be sure of your set up. looks like you have an air pump for each bucket, nothing else? what type of stones - or do you use 1/4" tubing? looks too easy???

peace:bigjoint:
Hello Old time smoker,

Iam running a general hydroponics dual diaphragm airpump.

Its the only airpump on the market that is specially made for my application.

Real quiet, and puts out a shit load of bubbles.

It will run 4 buckets, full steam.

I also have a cheap walmart dual outlet pump that is running one of the buckets
that I decided to add later on.

The tubing is 1/4" correct, and running heavy duty air stones.

Seems to work ok. :peace:

YES!!! you lucky dog. i gotta get my water filters before i can get a meter. thats awesome man, i bet you get em dialed in quick now.
Hey Buddy,

Yea, its much easier than adding 2 drops of solution in a corny plastic tube.. LOL!

It is way more accurate with instant readings :)

Cost me about 250.00 with calibration fluids etc..

I think It will be a very useful item around this pad. :bigjoint:

I bought it at a local hydro store.

Like I mentioned to 420,

It was around 250 after the calibration fluids, cleaners and tax.

That aint too bad.

My plants need to be dialed in at all times, and I didnt wanna go cheap with one of them cheesy ass ones that break a short time later.

This meter was made in Canada, and I know a few who have owned em, and
all I heard was 5 star reviews.

I bought one of these about 8 years ago when I first messed with hydro, but I failed, and sold all my hydro shit because of my frustration.

Practically gave it away

I know what I did wrong in the past.

Live and learn. ;-)

Things are looking mighty fine around here..

Here's something Im trippin' on.

The Hydro plants are budding faster than the soil grown.

Im glad I decided to grow out the soil plants along side the hydro. ;-)

The difference is like the sun and the moon... ya know.

The Hydro plants have matured much faster, and look alot healthier(same exact nutrients)....go figure. :bigjoint:

We're at day #9 of flowering :)

Interesting huh? :?

Here, take a look.:weed:

I already explained it once to ya,... go back a few pages on this thread and you'll see the post I made just for you :)

Hit reply or quote, scroll down the page to the manage attatchment button, click on it, and you will see a new box, click on browse files and look for the pictures you want to post on your hard drive. Other than that, you will have to go to the help section here(if there is one), or contact a moderator.

Peace :)

IM SORRY CG I swear my wife is the blonde and it must be contagious ...lol........ I thought I forgot to ask you when actually I did thats why I asked again.

Thanks for your explanation x2 I will not side track your journal again I apologize.

A couple of years back I read about someone using a porous type hose used i think for drip feeding plants instead of an airstone. I cant seem to find it again do you know what I am referring to? and have you looked into different things for the bubbles?

Them aint what I was referring to but that looks like it would work. I did a passive hydro system a few years back called Autopots http://homeharvest.com/hydroponicsautopot.htm I like them but I always was messing with my airstones getting clogged in the resvr . You have me 90% ready to switch to DWC from these hempy buckets when I harvest in 4-5 weeks. I just want to make sure I dont have to funk with the airstone troubles in 6 buckets.
