Yea that is Mary-J.. Only one branch is like that tho.. the rest are all normal. I'm wondering if the bud will be double the size too!!! =D Maybe thats just wishful thinking. lol

Never heard of PolyPloid either...?? but sounds cool. I'm gonna read the link Wolf Scott posted. thanks guys for all your comments. I'll mkae sure to update you when the bud starts forming there. should be interesting!!
 
I had a weird limb on my first grow and it got twice as big/thick as the others and had flowers pop pop popin out everywhere! lol...

Hmmmmm.. lol. well thats good to hear! lol. yea this branch is very thinck.. i feel like I could cut it off, and plant it, and it would look just like a small plant.. lol.

Sooo maybe I didnt lose out when I took the clone...? I lost the bud I woulda got when I took the clone.. but now this branch is pushin out double everything... lol. soo hopefully it will double produce buds... =D

And when I left my house last night.. the seed had sank. and so when I get home today, I'm going to plant it, and stick it in the box.. since I highly doubt the clone is growing at all...

I'll updat you guys once I'm home.

thanks man!! I attempted to clone it in the begining.. i took one of the main branches.. but it didnt make it. =( and i was really upset.. cuz it was one of the MAIN branches.. and woulda produced A LOT of bud.. and now.. its dead.. and it just seems like a waste.. But now I got this branch growing double everything.. soo that might just make up for it. I think I "MIGHT" try taking another clone somewhere down the road.. but for now.. I'm just gonna let it be.

I've Never heard of that word before.. and it is pretty confusing trying to read it in Wikipedia.. Do you have a simplified definition of it?? lol

And yea it is pretty cool looking.. especially where the bud site is.. its ova shaped, instead of circular like most bud sites.. hopin that means the bud will be bigger. =) I was wondering if maybe it happened because I too the clone so early? Maybe all the energy that was gonna go into that branch.. wen into this branch...? Just a theory...

yeaaa. trust me it will.. and once you start seeing your white hairs poppin out... your onto the funnest and most rewarding part of growing. once you see the 1st hairs.. it just gets better and better.. each day it looks better and better.. and once you hit like week 4-5ish... to me.. thats the best part, because you can actually see the buds starting to take shape.

if i was you id take clones exclusively off that one branch ... i would take 3 or 4 and make sure they are good ones with at least 3 sections to them ... since that is a poli it will have extra vigor and bounce back easily just don't take the main cola bud and you will be fine :)

you want your clones about 4 inches long with at least 3 or 4 sections to them then once you get ready to do it have a small glass or a shot-glass ready with the same water fert mix you have been giving the plant in it ...
once cut off the branch then snip off the one or 2 bottom leaves on the stem QUICKLY then strait into the shot-glass with the water fert mix..(DO THIS ON WATERING DAY SO YOU HAVE EXTRA AROUND) .. this keeps you from getting a embolism(air into the center hollow hole in the stem)..
then with your rooting compound(gel ..powder...whatever) handy you want to go right out of the water and into it and make sure you get a good coating about a inch of the way up on it...
once you got it coated good and have a good blob of it on there then strait into the medium your gonna clone in...if possible use the same mix your main plant is in ...
then just make sure to mist the leaves and keep it in a humidity dome for about a week or until you see roots ... i personally use peat plugs...love em
if you think one plant growing like crazy would be cool ...imagine a few plants all growing like that one branch does...wooooohoooooo :weed:

Heyy man. Thanks for the tutorial.. hopefull if this other WW seed grows.. I can practice cloning on it.. and then use what I've learned to take a clone off of that super-branch. lol. The 1st clone I took.. I was getting ready to throw it out.. I took it out of the dirt.. and there were no roots growing.. it looked the same as it did when I put it in there!! lol. well actually it looked better when I 1st put it in there.. but instead of throwin it out.. I just cut off about 1/2 inch of the stem at an angle.. made a couple slits into it.. put some more rooting powder on it.. and threw it in a peat pellet along with the WW seed.. They're both sittin in the humidity dome right now.. figured I'd give the clone ONE more chance...

I will probably put up some pics today too, since I might be gone for the weekend, and wont be able to put up any new pics.. Shes comin along great. She's got white hairs poppin up here adn tere.. and Mystery is looking good too! Still no sign of sex yet.. but since males tend to show 1st, I'm kinda happy she's not showing yet. lol. I will keep everyone updated!!

yeaaaa. I'm praying its a girl too.. idk. I have a good feeling it'a gfonna be a girl.. I can see lil things on Mystery that look calaxes.. but I'm not 100% sure.. I can't make it official yet.. but it does look like Mystery is a girl..

I cant wait to see the buds either.. thats the only reason I'm growing it.. I mean it was a baby when I flowered it.. it was only a few days old, but I just wanna see what the bud looks like.. That's be cool if it was bomb... bomber than the WW. Cuz I have like 14 or 15 more of those seeds.. lol

We will wait and see.. I cant wait till they both start budding.. gonna LOVE takin pictures of them. =) I'll let you know if I see white hairs pop out of Mystery. =)

Ooooo shit!! lol. Wow. Yea I knew it wonf a few awarsd back in the day... but I didn't know it was STILL considered to be the best strain out there!!?? lol. Well thats good!! lol. Well I will let you know if this stuff is as good as it says it is. Trust me.. I will do a very in-depth smoke report on it. =) Cant wait to be able to. lol. And I will do a smoke report from a couple days after I harvest, when its still only drying... and then I will do nother report after a couple weeks of curing, and tell you guys the difference.. I'll take some bud shots from b4 its dried.. after its dry.. and then after itys cured too.. to see when it "looks" the best. =)

Cant wait to be able to do all these things!! Im gonna post up some pics today in a lil bit. I'm about to hop in the shower 1st tho.

Thanks for the compliment.. and as far as feeding her, I'm feeding her right, Just moved up to full strength nutes, well, I havent given it to her yet.. next watering I will. I would be happy as shit if I get 3 ounces dry.. I'm hoping for 1 1/2 ounces.. I'd be happy with that.. but deff be MUCH happier with 3.. lol

And yea tight now all the leaves are really healthy. I'm happy about that. My last grow I had a lot of yellowing leaves by this stage.. but this plants very very healthy.. There are a couple BIG fan leaves gettin in the way and covering up some of the budsites, preventing them to get any light.. but I dont wanna cut'em off.. i've just been kinda tucking them under other leaves. I've always wondered if it's the leaves that makes the buds bigger.. or just the light on the buds themselves??

And I would LOVE to grow a bud that size!!!!! I will attempt to.. lmao.. but doubt I will come close. I'll be happy with a bud the size of a water bottle. lol.

You know if you leave all the leaf mater on and only cut the big colas on cut date the little ones will grow up to be big ones a few weeks later and you won't lose any effects at all.
The lower colas are always a bout a week or two behind the main ones in growth age.

I just cut 2 colas of of one affy that were ready but the lowers ones were not. the two weighed in at 86 grams wet but fully trimmed of leaf matter, and very little stem.

I am hoping for an OZ out of the two dried, and i still have 11 more colas on that plant to harvest.
