Its to add to aquariums that have aquatic plants--they are by "jungle" they: .."removing chlorine, chloramines and harmful metals. allantoin is also included - a soothing, natural protectant . Each water conditioning fizz tab releases trace elements, C02, and many electrolytes to condition the aqaurium for aqautic plants."

does this sound good to add to the water that i am watering the plants with??

thanks in advance..off to start building my hydroponics system!

I've read that some people use them, I have never tried myself. But from what I understand, they seem to work.
