aroura indica questions?

i just germed germed and planted 10 seeds, 100% success rate, woohoo! anyone have any advise with these plants? best nutes to use how strong? best time to flower, or anything else that can improve my yeild? im growing these mixed with some random bag seeds got about 20 plants in my closet right now under one 250 watt mh and about 150 watts of mixed spectrum cfls. planning on keeping them pretty small thinking of starting flowering in 3 weeks under a 600 watt hps in a seperate grow tent in 2 gallon grow bags. how does this sound any advise?

i also have 5 gallon bags. wish i had some 3. should i upgrade to the 5 gallon bags or will the 2s work out for me? i think i have way too many plants right now i wasnt expecting out of 20 germed for 20 to pop so my space is a little over crowded right now thats why im thinking of using the 2 gallon bags, right now there in 16 ounce cups. i was thinking about throwing half into the flower tent first so i can weed out the males and then adding the rest so i have more space. this is my first real grow with real lights ive been using cfls for years tho but i finally decided to throw down some bucks and do it right. i need some advise though

no right now i only have them under a 250 mh and around 150 watts of cfl but thats 20 plants in party cups, and it allready feels cramped i dont think i can transplant into bigger containers untill i get them under my 600 so thats why i was thinking 3 weeks max. i thought even 3 weeks in those 16 ounce cups is kinda pushing it

you can veg pretty big man... and with that 600 watter your all good

Where did you buy your seeds? they are a very easy strain. fed mine very aggessively with A.N. sensi grow/bloom and big bud. you want to let them veg until they show sex and nodes alternate. 6-8 weeks. plan on 9-11 weeks flowering. mine ended up 24"-36" tall and i took 1-2 oz off each plant. i would rate potency around 8 and taste 9.5. very sweet fruity taste. please ask me any questions and i might be able to help you out. heres some pics of my ai girls.

wow those plants look great! I too am working on my first Aurora Indica grow. I got feminized seeds from Nirvana Seeds. I have one of them in a scrog (pic is my avatar), and another I'm using for a mom. I haven't had the pleasure of flowering a batch yet, but I will be starting soon! I am using fox farm line up Grow big, Big bloom, & Tiger Bloom. I mix nutes week. One thing I have to say is she did scrog very well, here are some pics! The first two pics are of my 5 week old Feminized Aurora Indica Mother plant. The last two are also Feminized Aurora Indica plants, 5 weeks old. But she is in a scrog set up! 2beanklm i got my seeds from nirvana, one of their daily specials buy one get one, so i got 20 seeds for the price of 10. i wish i had the option to veg them that long but i really think im gonna have to give in at 3 weeks just because i dont have enough space to transplant them. maybe ill just take half of them into flower at 3 weeks and leave the rest to veg another 3 weeks that might work out for me. also im using fox farms happy frog mixed with half organic coco coir. and using earth juice grow, bloom, and catylist, with some superthrive, and im going to mix some bonemeal into my soil once i start flowiring

oh and 2beankim, did you notice a lot of different phenos with your grow? because ive heard thats an issue with this strain. what are you using for lights?

yes they were quite different, but they all seem about the same quality in the end. i ran 1 600 mh 24 hours first 3 weeks then 2 600 mh 18/6 for 4 weeks then 2 600 hps 12/12 10-11 weeks

looking very nice!!! never tried fox farm products. i'm sold on A.N. although alot of people don't like them. i bought my seeds from marijuanaseeds.nl.

Diff phenos are your biggest problem ... some like to be toped and some dont ... she yeilds great untopped every one of mine i have started flowering at 12 inchs and they always finish areound 41-45 inchs tall .... but you can get sume that go up to 5 ft easy even if flowerd at 12 inchs..... i used Gen Hydro in soil ....

Mine i let go a full 11 weeks its BS what nirvana says about the time , even the first time i grew this it took 10 weeks..

the cola shots are 2 diff plants i topped one of my 3 ...i still have 2 standing

wow it really took 10 to 11 weeks to flower i thought since they are basicly 100% indica they would be ready in 8 weeks, 9 at the most. did you use a scope to check the trics?

yep they dont even start to change till the hairs have almost all receded back in to the buds and at 11 weeks the berry/hash taste is soooo nice

nice buds philltubes i think im gonna lolli pop mine since im gonna keep the veg time short, i dont want any stress to delay my harvest. im very surprized it takes this long to finish. what color where the trics when you harvested? like i said before i thought a mostly indaca strain would be ready in 8 to 9 weeks, it seems strange that it would take 11

At 10 weeks they just start to go milky/cloudy at 11 weeks they are pretty much all milky with an amber here and there ... You could pull at like 8/9 weeks but they wont be no where near as potent as they should....

i wouldnt pull any faster then 10 weeks...

she might be an indica but she takes forever

Ya the sooner the better simply because this strain has a huge root system ... hell the first week they wont have any growth above soil, just below... ummm i only have used 1 gal pots to start my plants... and they grow out of them in 2 weeks you might be able to push them but it might stress them too
