starting indoor for outdoor

this is not a first grow but this is the first time that i've cloned or started indoor. this is my first post as i am not too familar with blogs or threads or whatever you call this but i have been reading alot recently on riu and i've learned alot and im looking forward to any coments or advice i can get. i have a few pics and they are of 6 females and 8 clones. the clones are all male (i know) i am only cloning them to see if i have the tech down. (i would hate to find out that i don't know what im doing when im trying to clone my females) if the male clones root, i'll be happy my tech worked and then through them away o and grow area is a bit tight so pic are a little hard to take so thier not that great

Remember to harden off all your plants for the outdoors first. I plant mine on labor day after 6-8 week veg in door.

alright fella im doing the same this year as you.

hardening of the stem is to strengthen it before u put it into mother natures hands. to do this u put the plant outside for a week or two starting off for only a few hours at a time in a shaded area then increasing the hours till the plant can be left out all day. if you dont the chances are it would snap and die because of the wind. hope that helped

i should probably just look at some other posts but when you do a cutting for a clone do you do the cut under water so that no air gets in the stem? i remember hearing that somewhere but i didn't do that. i took my cuttings 9 days ago and there are no signs of roots but there is no signs of death either. and heres a pic of what they look like now. any input would be appreciated.

what if you have been in veg since december and you want to keep it in veg till its time to go outside.. will the little bush turn into a monster or is it going to be all messed up?

you can move anythin ouside that you want to and if you do it now you dont really have to harden it off as long as you had a fan on em and a strong light they'll transfer outside just fine

So then you can grow a plant indoors for months in veg. and then put them outdoors in May. The lighting will be different than 18-6 wont it. this wont trigger early flowering??? Or will it just stay in veg. and be a monster

now that only goes for spring not summer summer you gotta harden off or you'll loose like 1 of 4 plants

what if I have my plants indoors for veg. then 36 hrs of darkness, and then put them outside during spring/summer to flower. will they still be triggered to flower even though its still summer?

This is the exact concern that I have about starting my grow. I am planning to germinate 5 feminized plants indoors around mid-March, then plan to transplant them outdoors around mid-April.
Will April have similar light periods of 18-6? I would think it would have less then that. If so would it trigger flowering stage?
btw I live in the north-east coast of usa.
can anyone help?

i've seen friends do just that the past couple years. thats why im doing it this year. and as long as id doesnt get too cold or frost they should be fine. it might put a little stress on them at first but it won't hert them and it won't trigger flowering.

Hello fellows. I have a simple question about indoor growing before outdoor. Well, actually in my country the best time to sow the seeds is 15 of May, as a result you will harvest in the middle of October,therefore i am plaingn to stand by this rule. I want to know when i must put the plants under lamps.Also, can someone advise me what kind of lapms i should buy for 10 plants? I am plaining to keep my babies 30 days before outdoor transplanting?


What is your point of view ?
