Sound Off on LEDs - Your experience and opinion

Lots of people are talking about LEDs so I thought it might be a good idea to have a new thread as a place to gather experiences and opinions. Do chime in.

I used to roll my eyes at the idea that a 90w led light could equal 400w in other systems. That kind of intensity isn't possible in leds. Then I got a smal 2AA flashlight with a single led. I can easily spot an animal or person with it at 100 yards. So I'm on the verge of trying the 90w ufo from sunlightsheds.com at $200.

I think there is enough LED threads and they usually just start arguments..............

Google, LEDGIRL. I read one of her journals a few days ago. All she did was bash HPS. But she had like 15 panels of LED. Litterally like $20000 of equipment. Then her grow stopped... Lemme see if i can find it

I added the CFLs to fill in the spectrum and side lights. Also make me see easier when I am working on them, because it is quite hard to tell colour when the lights is purple.
