OG Purple Kush

yeah man, i just started germinating my seeds from the attitude, im about to start Trainwreck, & White Widow in dwc today, i already have the top of nikki that i cut off in the bubble cloner ( i topped her two days ago, and now she is so ugly, the ho-moans is starting to take effect and shes growing back from the lower nodes but its a slow process, i dont know how well my cloner works. im still waiting to see roots. ( i also topped michelle but that didnt work out so well. i ended up manhandling the clone somehow, and squished it in my fingers like a fuckin idiot. oh well. im about to post pictures of the hydro setup and the girls reacting to being topped..

I am moving my G.C. Kush from the veg thread to my flower thread.

I transplanted it to a 3 gallon pot from coco to FFOF and FIM of course!

I wanted to show my new co2 set up.

I got sick of taking the bottles out every dark cycle, and frankly I usually forgot. What I have done is placed my bottles in to an 18 gallon tupperware and cut a hole big enough to fit my intake hose in to.

Yeast fermintation gets messed up if it gets over 80.6 degrees. or below 59 degrees so this will cure that problem.

When the timer shuts off the intake and exhaust fans stop as well so the co2 should just collect and vent out of the tupperware intake holes.

This is a 6 inch hose with a 12 volt pc fan with a 12 volt/22 watt adapter running it at max capacity 120 cfm

Also I tied down my og purple a little better.
these have been topped using uncle Bens topping technique found here!

I like the balloons because they let you know if a reaction has stopped. I change my co2 every 7 days so they never deflate but if you get a mixture wrong I don't want to have an entire wasted week.

I have gotten one wrong before too, not sure why it just didn't work...

I stole all your LST ideas so you can steal my co2 setup if you want!! haha.:-P

right on i might try your way with the balloons, but i havent been using any recently.
did you get tired of your growroom smelling like a bread factory? Or just sick of mixing up yeast and sugar...

I bought a funnel and it made things go much faster and easier.

My humidity starts the dy around 50 and works its way down to 41.2 by the end of my 12 hour cycle. 50 and under is what you want for humidity I have heard, not sure if thats Gospel.

Buy at store;
yeast
sugar
baloons
2 liter pop

dump out pop, clean 2 liter bottle. add 1 cup sugar to bottle, then add 1 table spoon of yeast. Add warm water between 110 and 130 degrees F. fill to about 1/3 full.

cap shake. drill a hole in the lid so the co2 can escape and put a balloon over the top to capture the co2. Poke a pin hole in the balloon for the co2 to escape.

The balloon should stand up so you will know when the reaction ends. It takes about 20-30 minuted for the co2 to start building pressure.

Each bottle in theory adds 300 PPM co2 to your growroom and the air normally has 300 PPM so 4 should get you max co2, I use 5 just to be sure. should last 7 days at least.

I use Fleischmann's RapidRise Highly active yeast
I did however just order some bulk yeast online I am not sure if it will work yet so I will report on that after I use it.

im pretty sure all yeast will work for co2. and 40 humididty is still to high for me cuz im in flower im tryin to keep it as low as i can to prevent mold and diseases. i usally only use it in veg when the humidity doesnt really matter as much as in flower

what do you believe is a good level of humidity in flower stage?

as low as i can get it really i dont have a humididty reader, but its not hard to tell when its humid or not in the grow room. and the humidity can be higher in flower but only if u have alot of ventilation and moving air

I see thank you. If my math is right I should have complete air exchange every minute in my tent. I will definitly keep an eye out, I did lose a branch of the ice cream plant to mold after all... I think she came in with it though I am unsure.

I lost one limb thank goodness not a crop:) Its the ice cream plant in this thread.

Due to information I have been getting, I need to admit I am wrong.

I need to veg my plants for far longer.

Due to the outstanding performance of my G.C. Kush plant post transplant to FFOF (and its great stone) I have decided to move it back in to veg.

I had given up on this plant, but it is now thriving and turning dark green like the rest of my plants in FFOF. I tied the plant down, that is now in a 3 gallon pot, so it can barely get some light in my veg room.

After my clones root I have a 24 watt T5 to add for it.

also see my new cfl light shade made from cardboard mylar and packing tape.
