That is what I want to do!! THE WHOLE DAMM BITCH! LOL dont care about the bud on the pollenated girls cause I will have at least 16 other girls going in a separate area,,, then put the pollinated girls back in after a week and a good sprayin.....I plan on doing a MASSIVE seed run with around 4 diff. females, (auto ak47, LR2, auto ak47 x auto blueberry and buddah white dwarf) all pollenated with auto ak47 males!!!...GO HARD!!!! "(HOW MANY MALES YOU THINK I SHOULD HAVE IN THERE WITH 4 FEMALES??)
I also jus ordered some short stuff blue hymalaya diesel, mdanzig blue ryder and joint doctors new "purple jems"!!! OMG! its gonna be a tasty fucking summer!! (these are for my next round, since I am doing a stagger/perpetual grow, I will need to let those new seeds mature properly.....(4-5wks after seed harvest, right?)
Then start the process all over again with newly purchased seeds...BY THE END OF THE SUMMER i WILL HAVE THOUSANDS OF SEEDS, BOTH TRUE BREEDS AND CROSSES......

WOW!!!

AS WE ALL KNOW THESE BEANS CO$t SO NO MORE BUYING!!!!

So what your sayin is just let them "really die"? say go 10-11wks???

If you decide to do a full on seed run to get as many as possible, dont think of your plants in terms of how much bud you will get. The reason for this is that you will want to let the plants go as long as possible so that as many seeds as possible mature.

AF plants will die after a certain amount of time, and the bud quality will begin to go downhill. Now if this means the difference between 100 and 400 seeds, I say screw the bud and let the seeds fully mature. Even the bud you do get will taste a bit odd and generally not get you quite as baked.

Let us know how your seed run goes, I think a lot of people are very interested in breeding their own AF plants. Lets show them how ridiculously easy it is to get a good seed stock going!!

For 4 females, 1 male would easily do the trick. However, if you can find 2 males that both show good characteristics AND they have many differences i would say slap them both in there. To make sure you get 100% coverage just wait till the male has many many sacs that have bursted, and shake him over each female. If you use 2 males, I would use 1 for 2 females and the other for the other 2 females, that way you can keep track of what is what.

Yup, let em die. When the pods start to crack open you will see a white or light green seed. Once most or all of these have turned a light or dark brown, you are good to go. You will almost always have a few immature seeds, but once it gets hard to find anything but brown ones you are set. Kepp in mind that 75% or more of the seeds are not going to be visible until you start pulling the bud apart. Some will even drop off the plant before you harvest so keep an eye on your soil for dropped beans.

As far as waiting on using them, I used 20 of my Diesel Ryder seeds just 12 days after harvesting them. I read that 4-5 weeks is a good time to wait, and if you have the time then by all means. I just had more seeds than I knew what to do with so I thought what the hell right? Those seeds turned into my 8 ladies that yielded me a total of 4.65oz, so Im not complaining


Its been a while since I posted this pic, but here are all the seeds my wife and I were able to pick off the ouside of the buds before drying. Take 472 minus the amount of seeds here, and thats how many were still lurking that had to be picked out later. The pic was taken the day I harvested, you can still see a bit of green on some seeds but they all eventually turned a nice brown color.

Any precaution you can take will always help. Wash your hands, clothes, hair, take a shower etc. if you plan on visiting your seedless ladies anytime soon after pollinating. As far as taking them outside, you will lose a lot of pollen that way, unless you collect it and brush it on which in my experience is a pain and a waste of time.

If done in the tent, more pollen will stay close and not get blown away. I would also leave your ventilation off for half a day if you can....fans & all. Then after switching them back on, maybe the fans will blow some of the pollen off the walls/floor onto more buds.

And if you ever get pollen where you dont want it, spray it with water and wipe it up. moisture is pollens worst enemy.

LOL! I completley agree...(that using a brush is a waste of time and a pain)(unless you have no choice, of course!) that's why i'm jus doin it the easy way...the whole plant...the way natuire does

I wont have a ventilation fan in there,(dont want the pollen to escape into house) maybe a 6" clip-on fan? the tent is just 1.9'w x 1.9'd x 3.9'h and will have one 85w 4200 lumens CFL (6500k) so it shouldnt be much heat...will that work for 4 girls and 2 males?

I will take the F1 hybrids and pick the earliest and best producing plants and breed them together to make F2 hybrids which will be more stable. Then i should have an A.F. Master Kush hybrid. Anyone have any advice on breeding these two strains together?

I was thinking about buying some Ruderalis Indica or skunk and Crossing it with Master Kush. Well unfortunately when you breed an AF strain with a non AF, only a select few of those seeds will hold the appropriate genetics to auto flower. In theory your idea is correct, but it will take much longer.

You would want to breed the 2, then grow out as many seeds as you could under 24hrs of light (not 20/4, not 18/6) to pick out the ones (if any) held the AF trait. Then you would take those females that auto flowered and pollinate the with your Master Kush once again. After doing this many many times, eventually you will get a plant that produces nearly all AF seeds. That, I believe, is when it can be considered F1.

Then you grow some of those F1 AF seeds, and use the best male to pollinate the best female and BAM, you have your F2s. But this will take some time. At the bare minimum you are talking a year or 2 to get your cross to produce primarily AF seeds. I have considered this many times but it really takes a lot of work, time, and patience.

If I am wrong about how the F1, F2, etc. works someone please correct me but from what I have read that about sums it up. But still, you will probably get some seeds that produce AF plants from crossing, so at least you would have some great bud fast while you are dialing in the genetics.

I know that only some seeds will keep curtain traits and others will not that is why I will plant every F1 seed and choose the earliest, and best yeilding plants to breed together. The F2 seeds will hold a little more of the pheno's that I am loking for. Then after the F2 seeds grow I will breed the best male and female then so on and soforth. So after I have made A.F. F3 hybrids (I know It'll take more than a year or so) I should have a really stable plant shouldnt I? I am really looking forward to trying Ruderalis indica or skunk with Master Kush because M.K. is my favorite flavour but i takes 8/9 months to finish here in Eastern Kentucky.

Yeah man everything should work out just fine for ya. Just think, in a years time or so you could have 2-3 harvests a year of some Auto Master Kush....mmmmm. This is assuming you are growing outdoors that is. Otherwise there really is no limit. Could you imagine a perpetual AF grow? Seedlings in the same room as the ones just about ready for harvest, pulling plants every week or two, MAN I wish I didn't have to stop growing for a while haha!!

I would love to do a little commercial style continues grow room but I have to resort to outdoors. I love growing outdoors though, I use 100% aged horse shit as a medium(no dirt or potting mix) and my plants get huge compared to my indoor grows. Ive only grown 2 plants indoors with a $30.00 sears grow light though..lol

guys help me why the fuck are they so small ! i gave a seed to my brother and hes is growing awesome its like 14inches so it must be something im doing,
every week i put new water into my res at ph 5.0-5.5 think this is to acidic ? and everyweek when i come to clean it the ph has risen to about 7.0-8.0 anyone got any ideas ?

IMO>>>i whoulnt go lower then then 5.5. or high then 6.5......try to check the ppm EVERY DAY.keep it from jumping around...the thing about autos is once you stress them.your pretty much fucked.cause they never have the time to recover. good luck...

i dont have a ppm meter lol , i got told if i replaced the water in the res every 2 weeks i wouldnt need 1 , there on a really low dosage of nutes because there so small , do i add nutes then ph the water or .... ph the water then add nutes ?
