I'm currently the perfect poster child to stand in front of them and speak....wish it weren't so.
Question is.....dare I?

I would really LOVE to ask them why they condone my medications and make MJ out to be a "drug."
That's the point of a public hearing right? So people in charge can hear from the public?

If you have the capacity to go and even just get up there for a minute I think you should.

If this damn thing wasn't tomorrow I could have planned my work schedule around attending...:wall:

I don't really know how these things work. It would be nice to know that professionals, such as doctors and nurses, etc. would be there supporting this bill.

Knowing me, I would be LATE. I drove a good distance today to see a specialist. I was 20 minutes late....and you know the rest. (If they waste your time because they are late coming in off the golf course, "that" is not a problem."

It only took me over 4 months to get the appointment!-end of rant there.

I'm infuriated. I watch the news daily and never hear any single thing about it.

Attending is worth thought regardless.
You should hear my list of side effects from LEGAL "medications."

I'm afraid I would have harsh words for Beverly Perdue. :cuss:I'm not soft spoken when it comes to this topic.

Mr. Perry is currently a GREAT spokesperson. He is a retired veteran and seems to be a good public speaker. All of the youtubes I have watched of him show him in favorable light. Most of the time it seems that he *is* getting the peoples attention. Really it seems we are blessed to have him love the state of NC so much that he doesn't want to move to somewhere like CA just stay legal. He is trying very hard on our behalf to help us not be criminals.

Naturally, this would come at a time when things are really bad for me.
I don't know if I could live with myself if I did not attend and speak my piece.

I'm not fond of the idea of standing in front of any group and speaking.

But let's think here...
Imagine 100 plus awaiting to speak in support of this bill, and another hundred marching outside those doors demanding that the majority make the decision, rather than a feeble and closed minded little group.

Whichever way any one of them is leaning now towards NO would be subject to reconsideration.

I am not familiar with who Mr. Perry is. Do you have a link?

..sorry. I'm THAT tired right now.
I just googled and I DO recall a few things about him. I like this guy. I'm guessing he will be there, yes? Even knowing a few like myself would be there helps.
That's not a short drive for me either.
his quote--- "I believe that God made the marijuana. I've never seen an Oxycodone bush," said Warren.

....I bet he would be an interesting character.

yeah that's like a 7 hour trip for me...not gonna make it. If there is a rally or something in our Capitol that is more drivable for me.

I wanted to ask some of you if any had noticed on their local news lately coverage of the "Great concern" there is to be had over "artificial" marijuana.

Can any one clear that up for me? WTH is "artificial" mj? It apparently looks and smells like it and even has the THC, but is not mj? :roll:Does that make sense?

LOL, I dunno.......if it smokes like it, smells like it and even has the same chemical makeup. I ask, why is it NOT marijuana?

Any way, seeing that banner above me saying "legal buds" reminded me of this. I only caught a fleeting moment of the report.

Sigh.....just a reminder of how our officials are CONCERNED about that ole evil MJ....great timing too. This was showing in only the last week.

They may be talking about the "spice" or Salvia D...It was recently outlawed here along with a bunch of other states.

I think this is what you are talking about...never heard of it myself, but it probably comes from that stupid "legal buds" place...can't be healthy to just slap together some leaves and twigs and tell people to smoke it.

Doesn't this shit have to be infinitely worse than cannabis? At least I KNOW what I'm smoking...
