NC House Bill 1380--The Medical Marijuana Act!

How long can a bill like this sit in one particular status?

It's depressing to think how long red tape and stiff-necked politicians could drag this thing out.

Our economy could use the boost, and so could our sick.

Well , like I stated before . This is something their going to keep hushed up till its voted on. They dont want anyone to help support the bill . If anyone in NC has any friends or family in the media now is the time to start investigating when the bill will be heard . Dont leave it to chance that they will post the date in the media .

It could only help the economy. Tobacco use is down and those mountains could be put to great economic use by covering them with our favorite herb. Not to mention saving lives from tobacco!!

While this website seems a little questionable, the information presumably obtained from Rep. Jones gives a good idea that we are still in the "education" stage of the bill. Jones is optimistic about the bill passing in the next couple years...as if the creator of the bill should be anything but optimistic...

So it looks like we've got plenty of time to rally support for our this noble cause...too bad Applebee's doesn't want to be a part of it anymore. That place sucks anyway.

Where are the findings of a ruling in December, 2010? I've been unable to find virtually any single thing pertaining to a future voting date on this bill. :wall:

Am I understanding correctly that Apple Bees in Greensboro cancelled Oct. 17th's meeting due to the cause being "politically charged?"

If so, why would the same company sponsor the very same event in Fuquay, N.C.?

OK ppl I know I been gone for awhile . Had alot of work hit me all at once . But from what I've been told its now going to be decided on in may this year . Like I've said before , I'm from SC and can only go by what my lawyers tell me .
Yes Babs , Applebees is a bunch bullshit . As far as I'm concern I will be boycotting applebees.

Not sure , but I think that was 2009 . How did the bill do in Nov. ? It was suppost to be put to public vote on Nov 3 2009 . Last thing I here was Dec . then May 2010 . So I'm not sure .

I'm just frustrated by it all.
It's amazing that you can learn how to make bombs online, but when attempting to find a date on a proposed bill....rocket science.
I'm preparing myself for a last minute vote to make it silently disappear. That would make me livid too, know it.
Hey Bone!!! Yes...let's bake. :eyesmoke::leaf:
