So the plants are looking ridiculously healthy, much better than the first grow plants were looking even towards the end of the cycle. The Afgooey's our plant that is the most covered in resin, understandably considering Goo is supposed to be so sticky. The smell is a sweet/sour smell, very smooth and so appealing. The Querkle's are still the shortest in the bunch, but they are making up for it in the resin gland department, and the buds are definitely starting to catch up. They have this appealing rotten fruit smell, which sounds really weird but it smells really good. Querkle 1 is still dominating, but Querkle 2 seems to be going through a big growth spurt. The Blueberry's are performing outstandingly, the leaves are turning a much darker green and the cola's are the most advanced out of all of our plants so far. Crystal content is high, and the heighth is fairly even with our Afgooeys and a little taller than the Lavender and Odyssey. Right now they smell really spicy//hashy.. which confuses me since they should smell grapeish. But in the pictures you can definitely see a blue hue, so i guess we'll have to see. The Odyssey has this really powerful sour smell.. kind of diesel like. It and the Lavender look pretty much the same- giant leaves- decent sized buds starting to appear; the smell is really what distingushes them right now. The Odyssey is a little more ahead in resin production. The Lavender is this really amazing sweet smell, my girlfriend's favorite smelling one by far. Resin production is moving along, and they seem to be getting more bud sites every day. The Jack the Ripper's tower over our plant's a good foot i'd say.. the hairs are very long and straight on the buds, sticking straight up. We were worried about this strain because according to the breeder subcool you should be able to see resin glands by day 12, and we hadn't seen any for a while. Actually, just a couple of days ago it seems like it is kicking into gear and starting up. I contacted the collective we got the clones from and they said it's a slower starter than the other strains so we'll have to see how it goes. The smell isn't really apparent either- and it's supposed to smell like intense lemon. Hopefully it starts kicking ass soon.

alright here is a room i built a few days ago along with a new t5 fixture i got today. its jus 2 feet with 4 bulbs. this way ill be harvesting every 2 months. or better perpetual. we will have to see on that 1. the room dimensions i made inside 27''x27''x36''. i was mainly going for a room i could fit a 2x2 tray in it if it ever came down to that many veging plants. as of now i dont see myself veging more than 8 or so at a time. the t5 will be plenty for 8 12''-16'' plants. could even pull off more than that without a problem. im gonna use a tray i got my last clones on. it fits 10 clones in 4x4 pots no problem. i just built the room out of 2x4s and made the walls out of black&white lightproof film.

You're giving me great hope! It looks like you used the HPS all the way through, is that right?

went to the hydro store today to spend more money. i picked up a hydrofarm 4ft jumpstart t5 then uprgaded the light to a alto warm. i thinks its ge or philips not really sure. was 16 bucks but they let me just swap it with the 1 that was originaly in there.i pretty much sat it on the 3 gal pots pointing up to help my 400 out. its working great gives my plants MUCH better lighting under all the foliage. id take a pic but it just looks light a bright light through foliage. it works pefectly in my 4x2 tray and only cost me 40 bucks out the door. my hydrostore always takes a few bucks off but after taxes it would of been closer to 55-60 dollars so it was pretty cool of them.
