I live in the midwest of the USA. Spring is approaching and when I moved in in the winter I noticed a TON of asian lady beatles. I killed most of their nests but kept some around in case. Are these the same pest control as lady bugs? They look the same but these buggers bite LOL buggers . Just wondering if this is a blessing or a curse.

Thanks

The Asian Beetle is a good bug. There purpose is to eat as many spitter mites and aphids as they can. As far as an inside grow goes, I feel there a nuisance and kill them when I see em. But outside, let em alone. Also, incase you did'nt know the beetle was introduced to the US in the 70's to control mentioned pests. They will go to the light where it warm.

Great thanks so much I am happy to have the buggers around then. My light is sealed up so they aint gonna get in there without some persistance... I like the way they look in the garden for sure.. Glad they are waking up and the snow is melting....

Thanks again Rep +++

LOL I guess I'm not the only one. I got about 50 in my grow room. The are uninvited, but welcome guest! They have done no damage to any of my plants, they only eat bugs. Consider it a good thing, you don't have to buy any, and they will come back every year. Each year more and more though. LOL I started to collect them and give some to a friend! Good Luck!
