so some of you real hydro growers might shit on me for this idea but im prepared for it.

you ever germinate in a plastic bag and paper towel but end up with more seedlings than you were prepared for? well one day i noticed one of my germlings was trying to get out of the bag and this gave me an idea

i made a clean paper towel and a new plastic baggie into a ghetto temperary failsafe hydro grow. i just cut off the part of the bag that you grip and sealed the bag except for around the plants stem. i dont plan on it lasting long; ill do what i can with it but if my soil babies all survive i might just scrap this project. i just figured it would be a great way to have a backup plan without taking up much space.

honestly the bagdroponic plant has done better than the one seedling that was shocked so i tossed that stunted babie(because i have about a month to mess around and make plans) for one of the other germlings that was doing really well with a good root system for a small seedling

the bagdroponic plant is actually doing the best out of my plants. there all just lil seedlings, but this one has the biggest healtiest leafs. one of my soil ones is not looking good, i think it may have something with nutrients in the soil (snaged from my school)

its simple to the point of being ridiculous, if you cant imagine it your trying too hard. its just a plastic bag with a paper towel in it, the bag has the leafs and cotyledons poking out the top and the roots are between folded PT. the PT is wet every 3 days or so.

I see.

So your plan is what? To keep it in bags?

naw, its just that i had a higher germ rate than i expected and ran out of space and shot glasses. i noticed this was happening on its on so i went with it. well see how things go, but this plant will be transplanted outside with the rest of them when nicer weather comes.

oh man...i dont even know what the heck you are talking about lol.....made no sense whatsoever lol... you just smoked some Trainwreck didnt you......

sounds to me like you get shitty germ results... throw your seeds in a cup of water, throw the cup in the dark, come back 24 hours later and poke the seeds to see if they sink, when they do leave the cup in the dark for another 12 hours or so, throw them in some rockwool cubes, and put them back in the dark until they sprout.......germ'd about 35 seeds throughout last year... only 2 or 3 failed.....simple...
