there will be 7 plants from clones.

3 HashPlant Haze (sativa dominant)
3 not sure but probably an indica
1 probably Pink Kush.

there will be 3 different spots also (the video is only of one spot but the other 2 spots are not too far from there.

i am growing in 5 gallon grow bags in a soil less mix of potting soil, perlite, and vermiculite. and using compost tea's to feed.

there is lots of sun. and running water not only from the creak near by but also from a running water source.

what do u think?? comments/questions totally welcome.

Hey looks good. It says that the video is private though. One comment though, if your grow is by that water source isnt there a good chance that there will be more traffic of humans around there. I am wanted to start something outdoors but am unsure how to in canada so ill be watching. Have you grown outdoors before? if so, how did it go? Hope all goes well.

this is my first outdoor attempt,gonna just do my best and see how things turn out. doesnt hurt to try right. just do some research on the weather and frost times.

why watch when u can join in.

I would just use the water to fill my jugs an wallk the water to em , space em apart to theives will only find part of your crops.

exactly what i am doing. the water source isnt far away so hopefully that wont dry up during the summer. i am going in this week hopefully to test the ppm's and ph of the water there.

A drought and your creek dryin up could be a problem but what could pose even more of a threat is a nice heavy rain!

growing near that water source could be a little sketch because one day people could come service that bridge thing, and another thing, rippers/thief's follow water sources to see if they can find some plants because they know every grower needs a nearby water source, and the same applies to helicopters/police.

you're probably fine though, just make sure you don't leave a trail because of all the times you go out there to visit your plants, and keep your visits to a minimum. (i know it hards!)

also the spot is directly over a flight path that both choppers and plains fly over all the time, my spot is surounded by black berry bushes which is good cause they are very close to the same colour as marijuana, and it will keep people away. kinda makes it a bitch for me but i grew up with black berry bushes surouding my old house. im used to them.

i should be going back out there this friday if the weather is good. i'll get more pix and vids

Not a bad spot man.

Just remember to clear some of that brush, and a few of those dead plants out of the way and you should be good!

at LEAST 800 ft (probably more) from any trails or roads.

the trail to get to where we go is a construction trail that hasnt been used in about 6 years. its pretty harsh to walk down unless u got boots and in the summer the dank water attracts TONS of mosquito's so people stay away from there.

and all those brown bushes turn into tons of black berry bushes once the weather warms up a bit and go threw out this entire forest. as well as the trails threw most of the forest are quiet thin so spiders make the webs across the trail.

all these things add up to a place where very few people go. and when they do it is only to walk there dog. even then they stay far away from where we are going to be.

we will see how things go, i might try planting early like april 1st as last frost here is around that time.

I read plants don't grow that much bigger if planted early, as opposed to end of may early June. I've also read the if you plant late, the plant will be in a rush to finish which can produce bigger buds due to hormone activity...

Anyone have any thoughts or experience on this??

i would have to disagree with ya man. to me it makes no sense and plus i have started plants at different times and flowered them all together myself and the older the plant, the bigger it was. and the more it yielded. planting early is the way to go. if i could i would plant next weekend but its still quiet cold even tho last frost is only a week away or so.

i'll prolly be planting around 4:20

i could prolly plant earlier than that if u wanted too man. we are suppose to get a pretty dry and warm season this year.

im planting around 4:20 if things go well with my clones.

ok so here is my plan

to hopefully solve the problem that might come up of early flowering i am gonna run my clones on a cycle of over 13 hours and progressively get longer each day going by the sun rise and set schedule.

after 2 weeks of that clones should have roots (using a bubble cloner and green planet eco root. its not a rooting hormone but some 16 kinds of bacteria and stuff to stimulate root growth.)

they are going to be planted in LC's soilless mix #1 containing

5 parts canadian peat moss
3 parts perlite
2 parts worm castings or compost. (i am gonna mix one part worm castings one part super soil).
and 2 tbsp of dolomite lime (per gallon)

so finally went back to the spot yesterday. it was a beautiful day.

when arriving at the forest first thing we noticed was there is SO MUCH green now. (forgot the cam sorry)

the brown from the picture before is all bushes and leaves n it probably took us an extra 30 mins just to find our meeting spot.

we dug up some ground and cleared out an area of sticks plants and bushes. there is still a bit of work to be done but it was a great start.

went back to the forest on yesterday and took even longer to find the spot. its getting bushy in there. got a lot done tho.

dug a trench 6' long, 3.5' wide, and 1.5' deep.

also took some water samples.
PH is above 7
ppm is 50

its only gonna get bushier in there.

and the main train on the other side of the forest looks like this hehe.

things are looking good so far.

hey just checked out the vid of your spot. looks good now but once those trees develop all there leaves it'll probably block out alot/most of the sun light, just some food for thought, it's happened to me before.

you want to stand facing south then look east to west 180 degrees (get compass) if you see trees (tall ones) like the ones i see in your vid, they are going to block the sun once they fill out.

go to farmers almanac (i think) and print out a chart of the sun's path for the duration of the growing season. then google homemade inclinometer, takes 10 min to make out of paper. figure out how to use them together (5th grade stuff) then go to your spot and you will unfortunately discover that those trees are goin to shade that spot. you gotta use your imagination a little bit and visualize the trees full of leaves, any trees above 20-30 degrees of inclination or gonna block the sun.

so there are now some clones IN THE FOREST. i am going to try to check on them in a few day's or next week.
