seriously man, the fact that you say you hope you don't get caught and lose your family suggests that you are aware of the potential consequences but are too immature and/or irresponsible to make the right decision. The sophomoric questions you are asking to a serious group of growers further suggests that you're too inept to even pull off a successful grow anyway, much less avoid getting busted. The ignorance of your carbon scrubber response to the comment about summer coming and finding a spot outdoors made me cringe. Abort now man! you are not gonna make money off of this, you're only gonna dig your hole deeper! i'm sure some of these comments are coming off harsh but just what should people think when you talk about risking your wife and kids on a crap shoot first time grow op??!?!? like you said..."people on here have been doing this for years" and thats how a quality product is obtained. The odds of you having a good profitable harvest with this setup is, well....you might as well have just blown the last of your loot on scratch off lotto tickets. And at least then you wouldn't have to worry about racking up felonies. Remember even if you get through the grow without attracting any fuzz,, you still are talking about having to make some sales. SALES!!! Big Felony! I really don't mean to be harsh here but you really can't continue this. Your kid would rather have a dad who is broke than a dad who is incarcerated. I Know its hard finding and keeping a job these days but you've gotta do the right thing man...dont gamble them away on a pot grow. I'm not trying to judge because i'm sure we've all made bad decisions but this is one you wont wanna live to regret.

this is as nice as i can be... yes i think people need to relax, including origional poster however i do think he reserves the right to defend himself... on that note.... this is a horrible idea, what happens when you put all this money into your new fiscal solvency plan and your crop dies from powdery mildew, or gets spider mite.. the list goes on, theres so many reasons why this may never work out for you, especially in the short run. ask anyone in here what thier first harvest was like... most people will admit to having a pretty touch and go time until they got a good swing going.

i sadly must agree that you need to not think about an easy make money fast scenareo (because lets face it, its only appealing because it seems easy, they do it in the movies all the time right? )..... exactly ... im not saying finding a job is easy in todays economy but pouring money into this should be after taking care of buisness, like using that money to print resume's !

i mean, your looking at 1-2 months Veg, then Minimum 6-7 weeks for flower. so the earliest you can expect your saving grace of money is in 3-4 months. provided you still have an appartment to live in at that point youl be doing ok i guess. And if you thaught a small bag of good dope stunk like skunk ass, wait till 60 ish (since thats the plan) plants start filling the air with sweet sweet aroma... lol, now as for the carbon filters.. i have never used one so i really dont know.

im being sincear and honest when i say that this is a bad plan for getting on your feet and dont be suprised if it doesnt turn out like the show "Weeds" with happy endings, it may end with a meager crop thats hard to sell to anyone but friends.

and the grammer, it made my eyes bleed reading it.

however if you feel you must go ahead with this plan i do wish you good luck and hope you dont have any legal issues. cause if the building Super suspects your growing (ie. can smell it) depending on where you live dont be suprised if the police are called. alot of un planned grow ops ruin the room they are done in due to high humidity and lack of air flow. amongst other issues. same reason why most growers in here probably have a house or something similar and have a room thats properly set up for air flow and such as to not have alot of the problems you will have in appartment

ya thats the other thing.. while some in here may be selling, i feel that most the people in here are probably hobby growers and other than spotting a few friends or something most people arent doing what your planning. i for instance have 2 plants and a buddy is going to give me 2 clones if they some how end up being males.. pleas god no!

***** oh and im an HVAC guy and most appartment bathroom vents are all connnected to the same duct system, so you may accidently pump blooming flower smeell right into a neighbors bathroom.**** maybe not though

and my Soap box is put away again.

yo green sister..................first off screw you for beieng such an ass to him for beieng on uneployment, you sound like a jackass that has no clue how the uneployment system works, your EMPLOYER PAYS into the system based off the hours you work, esepecially if he is recently uneployed. Ever own a busniess GREENSISTER i doubt it, stop hating on people less fortunate than you, lots of people recieving benifits right now because their EMPLOYERS paid into the required insurance, not tax payers. your an ass.

Well, first of all, buddha would never consider someone an idiot. Also he would consider YOU a drain on society by being belligerent for seemingly no reason at all. This poster did nothing offensive in the first place to provoke you. Yes maybe his plan is unconventional in western society and yes he did do wrong by calling you names. But you started it my friend.

that would depend on your system then wouldnt it.. because i have this fancy little EI deduction on my pay stubs based on how much i gross.
EI = Employment insurance... so here we do end up paying for it arbitrarily. however the US may work differently, i dont know.

i do think people got a little heated but part of that was out of love :) ... lol... seriously though, people in here were trying to smack some sence into the man, they could have been a bit more tactfull in the process but i think the point was made that we feel this is a bad idea..

last thing im going to say then im going to imagine this doesnt exist anymore .. i think what steamed people too is that someone thinks they can just go out and buy all this stuff and suddenly roll in money. if it where that easy i wouldnt have to hunt for a 1/4 some days because everyone would be doing it...
