I like mushy stuff, too. This is probably one of the most beautiful songs I've heard...I don't know if there was ever an original video for it.

lol @ gary puckett. My wife and I were just talking about how that whole genre of music ca. 1965-1975 is just kind of gone. folk-pop soft rock all mushy around the edges with horns and strings so the old folks could listen too. I guess Chicago would be the last avatar of that whole style. Carpenters, Bread . . .

Nice CJ! Our cover band played that song at pretty much every(bar/cover) gig we had for 10 years, we always did the second verse in German, Ahhh the look on most peoples faces when that verse came!!:bigjoint:

What was the best concert you ever went to? I'm going with the Rolling Stones in 1983. George Thorogood and the Destroyers, Hampton Coliseum, Hampton Roads, VA.

George does put on a good show...i've seen him

It's a tough one but maybe the best concert i was ever at was the 1977 GD concert in Englishtown NJ. 100,000 ppl+ and the line up was Pure Prairie League, Marshall Tucker, followed by the Dead.

It was at the racetrack and was very open. I remember we took 22 joints and by that night (we were there all day).... we had one left for the ride home....

I noticed it the other day, but refrained form commenting because I know you are a very busy man... your avatar.

It's been awhile.

I see you found a compromise.

Well, youtube deleted all but the live versions of this, so I found it here...the best INXS song ever.

That's a great album. I have the LP.

I'll refrain from divulging how old I was in 1983 when it was released.

This is my favorite INXS tune. I can't say why. Maybe it's the Bob Dylan influence.

A shade older than that.

I was deciding which University I would attend.

I was the Second Baseman on the baseball team.

I drove a Camaro.

I had never touched a boobie, or drank, or smoked anything.

College changed all that. A true education. bongsmilie
