You may be disappointed but molasses is not really used for making the plant taste any sweeter. It's for the nutrients & micro nutrients that it posses. My grandfather was using molasses for more than a 1/2 century with all types of plants in his gardens. Not once did he ever mention that it enhances taste or aroma. Personally I don't see a difference in taste. I think the taste thing is more of a mythBeen at this stiff for a long time and just added my first does of molasses ever!! I am hoping it creates a slight sweet after taste, i was unaware that it actually increase the yield... kewl!!
