My gf recently received as a birthday gift a small bonsai tree. After I inspected it at home i found some traces of spiderweb silks on it and realised it has /or had ...spider mites.
As I didn t have any pesticide on hand all I could do was spray the hell out of it with tap water....then did a strong flush on the roots......here and there....i still see some traces of web....even if the bonsai is soaked and put in the bathtub(witout water of course) ....as it is more humid and cooler place.
My question is ,....what should I do with the bonsai?try to treat it or throw it out?I have 2 more houseplants in the kitchen(no signs of infestation so far) and a "special one" inside a tent.I heard spider mites migrate and multiply really fast so i m afraid for my mj(which is only 3 weeks old at the moment). Can you advise me into something?
