Hello everyone! i am starting my first grow in my new stealth dresser set-up! i have a whole thread devoted to building my stealth set-up, heres the link. https://www.rollitup.org/indoor-growing/298714-new-stealth-dresser-grow-9.html but that is old news, im getting this thing rolling and germinating one of my Purple Jems i got from Attitude seed bank! I know it sucks i am only going one at a time, but i dont want to over do it while im still testing out my cabinet! It will be growing in a mini DWC set-up and runnning Floranova grow big, and Advanced Nutrients sensi bloom A and B! i am working with 126w of cfl's so im excited to get this thing under way. I will be posting updates on a constant basis, so if anyone has any questions please ask!:joint: :peace:

Sounds good I'm subscribed I was thinking about getting some of them .
I would of done at least 2 or more at a time , but you have to work with what you got any is better than none. Are you going to seed any ?

yea man i would of loved to do 2! But this is my first dwc grow and i dont know how much water intake as the plant grows will be absorbed. I had the taproot show tho, and planted it in the rapid rooter cube! So it is officialy UNDERWAY!:bigjoint: Once i get something to sprout i will update some pics! :lol:

Hope your 1 bean is fem....I also acquired some PJ lowryders and have 3 seedlings.....perhaps soon joint doc will produce some fem PJ.....
Lowryder strains are great to grow and produce very good toke material...hell, ya even smoke the smaller leaves on lowryders!
These PJ s are advertized to be purple/blue at the end....that'll be unique...I just had a harvest that included a bagseed that was very purple.....no it didn't get cold....another bagseed with it was regular color....stone toke too.....:weed:

thanks for all the positive comments guys im so excited to see my baby sprout! the excitement wanting it to sprout is 10x worse then waiting on my beans to get here!:wall: ha.. I will def. be on a constant update, so everyone buckle up for this magical journey :bigjoint:

Hey everyone! Im just posting up a few updates! my Temps. are looking awesome, Lowest being 67F and max being 79F! Humidity is max 50% min. 36% and resevoir temps. are staying at 68F my resevoir only holds 1 1/2 Gallons and im running 1/2 tsp. per 1 1/2 Gallons for seedlings! My grow nutrient im using is FloraNova 1 part grow. If anybody has any input or tips it would be greatly appreciated! Later guys:leaf::leaf:

Looks like a kickin' setup man! Just subscribed - somehow I missed your thread up until now.

Hey about not liking having just one plant... how is your reservoir setup to the airpumps? Is it easy to take out? If so, make another reservoir and start another plant under a CFL or two. When you switch to a 12/12 light cycle on your current plant - just switch out the plants/reservoirs (using your main lights 24/7). Hell, with a little planning you could do a micro-perpetual system without dropping much cash or needing much more space (just a small box or cabinet for the plants to sleep in). Depends on how willing you are to being a slave to their light cycles. Just throwing the idea out there. =P

Yea man that could def. be a possibility once i get my own place again! Ive been checking on her today but still no sprout!

Yeah waiting for a sprout to come up is maddening sometimes. =P Hey speaking of which, I saw a product for germination that looked like a clear cube of jello (I think in a General Hydroponics catalog), about the size of a rockwool cube. No idea how well they work, but it would allow you to watch the seed put down a taproot and break the surface. I'm going to get some just to see how they work when I have some extra cash. They looked cool though and would remove the waiting/worry.

Hey man just droppin' in. My purple jem beans took awhile to germinate, i used the paper towel method and it took a good 5 days to get a decent root. I still havent been able to get pic's but i just put mine under the 400w MH bulb. Hope yours sees the light soon man.

Hey everyone just a quick update b4 i head to class! She has shown her head!!!:lol: Im so stoked its rediculous. Lets just keep our fingers crossed she isnt a male, i have def. come to the conclusion that i am gonna do 2 netty pot sites after this grow!:wall: Any comments or suggestions are welcome just dont be too demanding! jk

GREAT! Now is when you'll learn some patience....
I had two PJs to sprout in jiffy cubes (after shot glass soaking) and are now bout 4" tall....quick....Unerneath the small leaves you can see the bluish/purpleish....
I've just dropped 6 more PJs into a shot glass in preparation for germing.
I intend to separate a male and pollinate one of the girls so I can get some seeds....which is how I've ended up with mucho lowryder 2 seeds that are my mainstay.
My next grow is short stuff blue H and lowlife mix....
Yeah, I'm kinda hooked on autos!
I'll be watching your grow...good luck!

Hey Oldreefer i appreciate the kind words! i would love to get a male in there to get a girl pregnant! that is actually my hope for when i add a 2nd netty pot site! My temps. are getting a little high for my comfort! around 84-86!!! :-( and res. temp is getting to around 73-74ish, it is probaly cause of how warm it was here today and we didnt throw on the AC in the house! But as soon as i see any growth i will post some updates! P.S. i switched the lights from 20/4 to 18/6 to hopefully take a small bit of the heat issues away! :weed:

I decided not to run any intake fans, and add all the fans to straight exhaust. 2 going over the lights towards the exhaust, and 2 inline exhausting the hot air. A friend of mine said that theoretically the air intake equals the exhaust, so a passive should suffice. At first I wasn't so sure but I'm running 155 watts at 74 degrees, something to consider.

true! but the only problem about that is its in my room now!:wall: so im kinda limited as far as construction goes on it till i get my own place again! "which is hopefully soon" im hoping to get some growth pic updates soon:leaf::leaf::leaf:
