what type of light for seedlings???

im starting an indoor grow and have a new 1000w mh and was wondering if i can use this when the new seedlings first pop up if i raise it higher than normal or if i have to use flourescents for the first week er so. if i can use the mh how high should it be?

you can use mh lights as long as their very far away, which is extremely inefficient, fluros r better and ive heard from many a grower that it builds good roots , for seedlings you want only a mere 4000 lux , compaired to 27000 for veg.

I find it tricky to get my 400 just right over a set of seedlings; 1000 might be trickier yet. I'm going to a T5 bank for seedlings next year.
