Autoflowers per squars foot

My question is one I haven't found a definate answer on. Since some autos only grow to 12" maybe a little more, wouldn't you be able to put more then the usual amount, I suppose you would have to compare it to a sog? Or maybe just help with this, how many can fit in a 4x4 area and still come out with a 1oz yeild? thanks guys i'm new here, need some critics

thats the one im growing... but i'm only expecting 1/2 oz off of it... but im enjoying it anyway... check out the grow in my sig if you wanna see how im doing it....
