Same here, I'm stoked about this thread, almost as much as my own grows lol
Slab

The nursery is looking dank already. I like your selection on your strains too. When you make your crosses dont forget to label them. You can use a small paint brush to put pollen on the preflowers up and down the plant. THis way you get seeds and you dont pollinate a whole branch or plant. That pollen is potent and it travels a long way.

I hope your new locations have good access to water as I remember last year when there was a drought. When are we going for a ride???

sorry to hear about your loss (a moment in silence............................................................)
 thank you for the condolances. lmao yeah man I couldn't believe I had more males going than females. wtf :-?

but it gave me a chance to grow them out enough to select the best ones. adios mf

Healthy looking boys! Bummer on the hermie. Better now than later though!

Can't wait to see Slab's army deployed! lol
No kidding. I'd seen females herm but I think that was my first male to herm. lol I'll keep a good eye on the next batch of those BnS. Hmmmm?

Get your boots ready bro. Me thinks spring is a springing... at least the digging part. :wall: Hard to believe it was snowing a couple of days ago. lol

Same here, I'm stoked about this thread, almost as much as my own grows lol
Thanks hardroc. I put a lot of effort into my grows. It's nice to be able to share it without risking it. :peace:

Yeah some of the smells are just flat out intoxicating. I like to reach into them and just smell my fingers. damn that Subcool has found some exotic smelling strains. And the Nirvana's Papaya smells good enough to eat like ripe fruit.

I cain't wait to pick them this fall. bongsmilie

Thanks my man! I'll try to be very careful. I'll stick one of the little plastic markers with the info in beside each one. I got a thousand of them and thought I'd never need anywhere near that many but I'm surprised just how many I am using. With the clones and all.
Thanks for the recommendation on thinning out to my keepers looking for certain characteristics. Great advice.

Yeah, watering a guerilla grow is always hard. I might look at pumping this year. Lugging 10 gallons at a time is too hard on this old fart. lol I saw one thread where this guy was gonna plant 200 yrds from his creek. FUCK THAT!!! lol

I'm excited to see you get those beans going too. Can't wait to taste them....hehehebongsmilie

Laced up and ready to go! Even brought my own shovel.

The rule of thumb around here is not to plant anything outside before mothers day. There's very little growing out there, and we've been promised temps in the teens for the next few nights. We haven't got any snow recently though. :)

Looking good slab!
Look's like you got a Santa's Workshop of Ganj going on over there. Hopefully, Spring will actually be here this time and we we won't get another random 2 day freeze...

Damn C, I wish you could. I'm gonna be sore as hell digging that many holes. I try to get a dozen a day.
Damn that's like may 9th. I'm waitin' on easter 'round here. Prolly safe now but I'll give them a little more. Still had a little frost a couple days ago.
Thanks for the visit.

Thank you ILZ,
I hope. But pretty nervous just yet. lol
Santa's gonna be having lots of presents this year. :bigjoint:

I found this patch of bamboo that is growing up into the road easement shoulder. I hacked about a dozen down and damn near had a load. About quarter to half dollar diameter and prolly 16' tall. Some are too big to use or even hack down. lol They will make some pretty good stakes when I put things out. I was figuring on 6' put 2 in the ground leaving 4' to tie off to.
I'll just stop and get a load everytime I go by it.

Nice pretty day! Went by my local Lowe's and got some things. Damn 6' bamboo stakes are $2.49 each, yikes I got a goldmine, lol. Found the twist ties in a 150' roll with a built in cutter for $4.95. Sweet! Picked up 6 bales 3.8 c ft peat today. That should help out my poor old soil. I still have about 10 bags of ffof on hand to mix in. Some days I think I started my moms too soon. And some days I feel like I'm already running behind. :weed:
Like yesterday  when an old friend came by with a bunch of kane. :hump: damn oh well still got a lot done lol a lot...

No changes today on the garden. I might start a little sun exposure trying not to burn anyone too badly.

But first I need to light off this bong bongsmilie

I am so pleased with the Papaya so far. I planted 5 seeds of which 4 were female. Took some clones from two of them today.

Papaya clones 3-26-10

Put them under the dome and heat mat.

The other flat of JTR's are out getting some filtered sun. :weed:

I have some papaya this year as I also heard they were a good strain. I tried topop some of these seeds last year but was unsuccessful. How did you pop your seeds? Sorry if I am too lazy to scroll back.

Damn right! I was thinking you could get some either PVC or Poly piping, camoed of course to your grow from the water source. Use a hand pump to supply the water. Poly would be better for flexibility but I would worry of being sighted from above. You could always drill a well, lol. Sorry I just had to say that.

hahaha funny man! Yeah that's the biggest drawback to irrigating is the risk of discovery.

I'd always used the paper towel method until this year I took subcool's advice and started them straight in rapid rooters. Worked amazingly well.

Yeah I was trying to figure out how I would irrigate a large plot and the best I could come up with is getting a portable power pack, a pond pump, and some poly tubing . I really have no idea if this would work, so let me know if this is just total stupidity on my part. Here is what I was thinking about using or something similar. Let me know if you see any faults in this. I figure the tubing could be buried and I could just bring the power pack and hide the pump.

I tried subs way last year and had 6 not pop for me but I will try it again. I think I need to loosen up the rooters a little as last year some got stuck inside the rooter.

That's an idea. I looked at 12v pumps and not much there. I might just plan on gravity feeding from an upstream pond to a trough. From there mix my nutes and gravity feed on down to the plants. Lugging those buckets gets tough during a drought.

I just dropped the seed point up (or repositioned it to be) and left the rooter hole open. Sometimes a seed just isn't viable though.
I'll have to get some more though. I'm down to using jiffy pellets now. grrrr

Yea since 7 out of 26 didnt grow into plants I think its a good method although like I said 5 of them popped but got stuck in the rooter. Im going to make sure there is an adequate hole for them to go into and come out of.

As far as the water supply, I would be careful with the tubing since it is easily visible from the air. So are trenches. A lot of work but you could dig a very shallow trench and burry the tube/pipe making sure there isnt a pattern and plenty of vegetation over the trench for camo. I like the pump and power pack setup. Easier to carry the power pack than all that water.

Yeah I'd bury it for sure at least a few inches. Something like this...

Down to taking Bubblelicious clones then I'll be all set. :blsmoke:
