Now see this is ignorance at its best. You assume what a great nation we have based on the moral foundations of our forefathers. Yes i believe in freedom, but i do not believe in the freedom to condem our fellow man becuase of his finacial situation. If hes a moron then yes leve the country. There are plenty of programs for college students who need help with paying health insurance, many youth programs offer it from DONATIONS, same with churches... they all work off of DONATIONS.bro i understand were your coming from, but you need to chill the fuck out.
First off, i have health insurance now, and am in great health..thanks to myself. No on epaid for shit for me. I have dept, and that will be dealt with. BUT the thing your not understanding is the overall view of this bill (which isnt perfect by a long shot). GOOD HEALTH IS THE KEY TO LIVING LIFE SUCCESSFULLY! SOME PEOPLE (I.E. ME WHEN I WAS 21 AND LAID OFF) CAN NOT AFFORD HEALTH INSURANCE AND REALLY NEED IT. IF PEOPLE IN DIRE NEED OF HEALTH INSURANCE NEED IT, THEY GOT IT. BUT WHAT ABOUT THOSE WHO ARENT IN THAT SITUATION...YET. THEY ARE FUCKED. OR WHAT IF THEY ARE IN COLLEGE TRYIN TO PAY FOR COLLEGE AND FOOD AND THERE APT AND THERE CAR INSURANCE ETC.... PEOPLE NEED HELP AND BEING WE ARE THE RICHEST (OR ATLEAST SECOND RICHEST) COUNTRY IN THE FUCKING WORLD I BELIEVE OUR CITZENS DESERVE ASSISTANCE.
GET OFF YOUR HIGH HORSE DICK.
And believe me, there's many in every state.
That being said, it's not a high horse, it's a simple fact that I give thousands of dollars to charities like the ones I'm mentioning here every year because I know of all the different programs they have (not just feed the poor).
And now, I will be FORCED to give charity, by the government of my country, and it will be available to everyone, including illegals, gang banging thugs with no regard for my life or anyone else and no motivation to go anywhere in life.
Like I said, please move to a socialist country where you can share all your wealth with everyone else. This country was not founded by this "sharing" wealth idea and the mere fact the government provides welfare would make ANY founder of our country vomit repetitively in his grave and then die a horrible second death.
It is not the governments job, nor MY job, to provide for anyone else. And that is exactly what this health bill does... FORCE us to pay for someone else.
And this is just the first step... I will not let my country be taken over by socialist/Marxist idiots and I will gladly join the Revolution should it so happen (and I do think it will) and will gladly do away with anyone that dares threaten my country again with Socialist ideals.

It's the simple fact that we don't want to be FORCED to pay for someone elses way in life.
You mention big gov't in your last post and you don't see this as a HUGE example of the government getting bigger?
Like I said, if you think you're entitled to my money, ANY amount, try coming to my home and taking it.
That goes for any IRS agent or civilian as well... it is unconstitutional to force this upon the American people.
Of course you wouldn't know that because you're sucked into this "new gen" way of thinking that is all the more showing of Marxist ideals.
This "united, share the wealth for everyone" ideology is one that I will physically and violently resist, in any way shape or form.
Time for a Revolution, time for some public hangings, it's time to take this country back to what it was.
Also, as for condemning our fellow man because of his financial situation, was it me that put him in that situation? Or was it himself? I can promise you it wasn't me... so why should I help him?
If he comes to me personally for help, I will most likely oblige and offer any assistance I can, but when he hides behind the government and forces the government to EXTORT money from me, to pay him, I will have nothing of it!

I for one believe that our country needs alot of help, and maybe capitalism isnt to key to this country. I mean look at big corps, they are capitalism at its finest!@!!!!! is that what your saying america needs more capitalism? we should favor the big corps?

No... but if the sick made the decision to not better themselves early in life before they were "sick", it is really no ones fault but their own.
I have compassion, sympathy, and morals... like I said, I give thousands every year to various charities, to help the sick, and there are millions like me who give thousands and even millions every year to organizations that help the sick and needy.
That is the right way to perform welfare actions... through donations, NOT taxing and enforcing rules that state we MUST provide for others. That is called socialism... and that is not the kind of country we live in, if you want a socialist country, try Cuba or Russia.
Another thing, show me a successful country who's government is a socialist democracy...
Oh wait, can't find one? Of course you can't, because they don't work!
It is not the job of the government to provide welfare for anyone, as a citizen of this country you have the freedom to make your life how you envision it.
Of course, many won't because they simply lack the motivation to get started on the right path, they're satisfied with being less educated (Like high school dropouts) and they're satisfied with taking money from people who actually work for their money, and the government provides all of this satisfaction!
As for capitalism, it's great! Look at any other country in this world, then look at ours... the American quality of life surpasses ANY other country out there. And it is because of capitalism! Capitalism fosters competition, which decreases living expenses, competition is also the necessary building block to innovation, meaning corporations fight to come out with the newest and the best, and capitalism in these days also fosters great environmental education with the big "Go Green" theme... Capitalism is AMAZING!
Even though the book is mostly about people like yourself, you may be enlightened and perhaps even changed into a real American way of thinking, it's called "Arguing with Idiots" by Glenn Beck... I suggest you read it.

when i was younger >21 i thought like you. Eye for an eye, and hell i didnt even believe in religion. But then i stopped being so pissed off and confused and really sat down with myself and found out what life is all about. Maybe it was my near death experience that did it for me, maybe it was growing up in a resession (now depression imo). But the thing is most people will never feel how i feel beucase they just do not understand life.
Sure i understand the greed this country was found on, take everything for thy self and give little back. But that was USA 2.0 beta version. Its time for an upgrade. We no longer fight for what is right. We pass laws and rely on the govt to fix all of our problems. And yes health is a big big BIGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG problem in this country.
IMO this health care bill is just the tip of the iceberg. In 20 year we will look back and laugh at how foolish we were for not doing this sooner.
Our country is in dire need of rebuild, Nows the time to evolve or die. If not chaos will ensue

In defense of my forefathers who founded this country on the virtues of FREEDOM and LIBERATION, I will gladly die by the gun.

healtcare reform is one thing. and taking it over is another. do we have enough doctors to cover all americans? would you rather get shitty weed all the time or the good stuff? and how many of these "uninsured" americans just simply dont want health care? quantity vs quality
when i know that my money is going directly to support people like lets say my loser brother who has CONTINUALLY made bad decisions all his life and gets rewarded, whats that really saying? there will be much abuse to come of this. now my user of a brother can go to a doc get his fix of meds now. meanwhile most of us could go to jail for our fix.
o well, i guess only time will tell if this is a good thing or bad thing.

i think a loot of people will be going to the "good" doctors and the "bad" doctors will be recieving less business, thus forcing the "bad" doctors to be better or they will make less money.
whereas today, the "bad" doctors work for the county or state medicaid hospitals and get paid well still because of everyone being forced to go to them.
