Went out and grabbed me some of that GH nutrient... Flora series full line. :bigjoint:

Lets see what happens using a chemical nute in the bubblers.

Im going to dump the fox farm nutes out of the veg buckets, and try this stuff out.

Ill bet it'll work great ;-)
I def think GH has a way better line.. although i still will use the Beastie Bloom and cha ching because it convenient but thats just for outdoor. I have found their liquids to be lack luster and there soil is ALWAYS contaminated with pests.

Hello Folks,

Was sick and tired of the wrong co2 levels..:-(

It was getting real hectic to set the timer to go off and on at the right times..

So, I was browsing my hydro stores co2 equipment.

And noticed a Brand new item that made its way on their store list.

Its a Hydrogen Co2 Monitor/controller. http://www.hydroinnovations.com/product4.php
It regulates the amount of co2 into the growspace automatically for you.

You can set it to various levels.

At default it turns on the co2 tank until the levels reach 1500 ppm then turns off the co2 regulator.

I can set it to go on or off with a digital timer, so that my exhaust fans can come on a few times throughout the day.

After I seen my co2 levels up past 3000 ppm today(1500 is considered max), I had to go out and buy this device.

Im happy I got it.. Makes growing with co2 too easy.

What an important tool, but rather expensive.. :-|

I like to do things right, fuck the guessing games.

I may of spent $350, but Imagine losing a crop due to too much co2??

Its a done deal and works great! :bigjoint:

Here ya go :)Hydro>>http://www.generalhydroponics.com/genhydro_US/feeding_charts/GH_KeepItSimple_Recirculating.pdf
For any other style of growing>>http://www.generalhydroponics.com/genhydro_US/feeding_schedule.html?PHPSESSID=e641faff0ddff492eae01c17cf1a8555

But, from what I read, Lucas says anything else but the GH Micro and the GH Bloom is a waste of money...snake oil.

Heres a very interesting thread .. "Lucas">>http://www.cannabis-world.org/cw/showthread.php?t=892

Im gonna try the Micro and the Bloom on the next grow.. :) 8ml micro, and 16 ml bloom per gallon.. Thats it..even though I purchased the full line. Change out the rez every 2 weeks.

Have a nice evening :)

Thank you for the fast reply, this is my first time growing DWC I just want to learn a few things from you..

1) is it possible you can take a close look off your bucket?? I just have no concept how to set up..
2) if you not using recirculating drip system how you change water every time??
3) How often you change the reservoirs from what I read 7 to 10 days? isn't that correct..

Thank YOU.. ^.^

1=If you go through the pages of this thread you will see the many images of my bucket, inside and out. :)

2=Manual labor, ... I remove the plant and the lid and dump out the old res water on my lawn, and water my houseplants with it ..

3=I change my buckets every 14 days ..

It may take ya days to get through this thread, but you will see/learn alot of dwc Bubbler bucket info.

Hello jakeman,

Yup, you can overdo the c02.

I have studied co2 for weeks now and found alot of information about this awesome gas.

Will bring on some major problems if your not careful.

Human beings cannot take in more than 3000 ppm's of Co2, and plants cant either.

If you overdose your plants with too much co2, You will have problems like very dark leaves, burnt leaves.. and other bad problems. Almost like overfert.

I also heard if you run c02 too close to your harvest date it may lower the buds potency.. I dont know if this is factual or?

The toxicity to plants/humans kind of scares me.

Thats why I went out and bought this cool controller that maintains the levels for me automatically. It keeps it exactly at 1500ppm, which is ideal for plant/bud growth.

It keeps things in order.

Just plug it in, let it calibrate, which can take a while, and your off and running :)

Hey Bro..

How's ur day?? Thank you for the reply. I finally have some idea! I'm thinking that I'm gonna create a DWC system tmr... I have another question, the girls drink a lot of water, right? Since that happens, should I add new water into the bucket, or should I just add nutrients to replace the lost water?
