Hey NB, I am excited to see you do the 36 hour off trick..I am very curious to see the difference. Jason from Bloom said this really works, but he did say it can't be 35 or 37 hours, has to be exactly 36.
Whaaaa? lmfao That's funny. Like after 36 solid hours of darkness 1 more hour's going to break the camel's back.

Hey NB, you can do the dark period thing, I used to (don't anymore), but if your plants are preflowering good then I def wouldn't worry about it. Most people say that the dark period actually lengthens the flowering process because for XX amount of hours the plants are just static doing nothing.

Like I say, if they haven't preflowered good yet then maybe try like 24 hrs of dark or something, but if you've got lots of preflowers then I'd just flip the lights bro. I've done both ways many times and honestly I've never seen a difference between the two.

I've tried the dark bullshit, but that's all it is. But you'll never know if you don't try it yourself.

I've had plants not show preflowers till almost 4 weeks into flowering when temps are really low at night, like 45 degrees.

they're all shooting preflowers nicely and I figured that the 36 hrs would speed things up but you cant rush a good thing right? :)

nothing for sure yet. still all up in the air if Im going to post my script or go for another guerilla grow. only way I want to do another guerilla is if its near a stream and I can set up a forced watering line so I dont have to come check it too often and compromise security of the area. how often would you have to go out and water?

here's the pics :eyesmoke:

Looking good bro, you must've topped those things early as hell cause normally I wouldn't think plants that short would be sexually mature yet. But you said they were preflowering good though.

But hey, why don't you lower your light some? It looks like it's really high and I'm sure that they can handle it being lower now. You should read up on the inverse law of light or whatever the hell it's called, if you don't already know what I'm talking about.

But they're looking happy, what are the strains again?

thanks dc :bigjoint: well theyre all from clone and most were shooting their pistils when I got them, but theyre not pushing any swollen calyxes so maybe Im getting the presexing organs confused...but no topping or fimming. just a little supercropping on a couple of each

and I was planning on lowering my lamp pretty soon. just wanted to make sure that they would take to the hps without any light bleaching or leaf curling ya know. and idk what youre talking about so I'll check that out today ;-)

&& strains are: 6 flat topp purps, 7 master kush and 3 grapefruit diesel

it's pretty quiet but my area is pretty small too so if you were going to try and move any air in a larger room, Id recommend getting a larger fan with more cfm but then you got more sound. I had to hard wire my duct fans but thats pretty simple and saved me about $30+ compared to buying almost the exact same fan from the hydro store with the cord already hard wired. lol those ones from the hydro store are green too so if you want to spend more for a little color, go ahead.... :-P

Cool man, I thought about them being clones but for some reason I thought you said that they were all from seed. I guess I'm just burnt out!

If that's the case then, and your clones are fully rooted, then I'd start pushing the bloom nutes, drop the light to about 18" above the canopy, and forget about the dark period all together. But that's just me. hehehe

Girls look healthy NB, very nice. If that is a 600w light and air cooled, I would def bring it down to about 12" I run my 1000w at about 16"-18", anything closer seems to bleach the tops a bit. I might bring them down a little since I picked up the light defusers ( spreaders)

Hey I tried a light diffuser once and kinda thought it just cut down on the lumens. So now I just raise the light up a bit more and rock the bulb au natural.

What do you think about them?

thanks man. I actually turned my exhaust fan off that was exhausting the heat from my bulb to keep temps up a little more since its been a little chilly the past couple nights so Im keeping it at about 17-18". I'll post pics when I get back from sushi ;-)

Hey NB, just cruising by checking things out. Looking orderly and ship shape bru, gonna get exciting soon. I think if you got clones they may have had some pre flowers on them before. but if you are running 18/6 then I don't think they will be showing signs of flower until you pop over to 12/12....

Have a good day, NB.

Peace, DST

looks good. what are your temps in ther and how far are your plants from the light?
temps are 72-76F degrees depending on the outside temps but with lights off it's about 62F. humidity stays between 48-55% and the lamp sits about 18 inches off the top of the canopy but theyve really been growing the past couple days so theyre closer now.

thanks for checkin out my grow :eyesmoke:
