ive had a few probs in the past with shitty lower popcorn buds tops are lovely but the light just aint penetrating enough so im hopiing n thinking lst is the way to go?

o yea it lets those branches on the bottom reach for light my longest branches are on the bottom there like 8 inches long it's ca ca ca crazy =) there actually almost touching my lights but there not getting harmed so im not moveing them trying to prevent anymore stretch

i have mcpurple but once again its back to the single grow/dry area i carnt do a staggard harvest if i need that area to dry in? im not happy with ne of my conditions n almost feel like packing it in until i can do it properly.

all it is is harvesting your upper most buds that are ripe and mature after those ar off it lets direct light hit all the lower nugs and they will plump up a bit and also ripen up a bunch more. have u ever noticed on your budding girls that when the tops are ready to harvest they will have red hairs and clouody to amber trichs, and at the same time the bttom ones are still white pistils and clear trichs meaning its not ripe.

yes i have was actually like that on my last grow and i have heard of people doing that just never heard it be called a staggered harvest im just so used to the tradition chop and hang method =) but i will keep this in mind now i like a more narco high anyways the whole energetic head high just doesn't do it for me i gotta smoke alot more of it to get to the point i wanna be

thought I would throw up a picture of my g.c. kush its been a long time and she has filled out and now shows pre-flowers in veg everywhere. so I am going to oblige her and move her to flower.

You can also see in the picture with my finger, after I bent the stalks out of the middle of the plant she sprouted a stalk and it went trifecta!! Going to have a sweet triple center cola I hope!

Yeah there were a bunch growing out of the dirt and on the stalk the triple was like totally covered, trimming it was like shaving haha.

The main thing is its growing so low to the dirt it is really hard to get a couple fingers in there to trim it.

I put a screen over it and untied the strings when I put it in flower so if it starts to stand a little I will get in there.

Well the floss was not so great on my o.g. purple kush late in flowering. I also noticed you stopped LST'ing.

I think it is great to train the plant in veg for sure and will continue to do that but when I go to flower its al trained and Silica Blast will help the plant maintain its shape.

I am not sure if I will like this screen or not I made it and its just for the one plant.

I also trimmed much more of the undercarrage this morning laying in my grow tent haha.

well i didnt stop lsting i have 2 plants in flower that are lsted. also all my plants are topped except one and i consider topping a form of lst, same with scrog sog and some others they all involve low stress training. and i didnt tie down the rest cuz i need the space do to having more plants, and i wouldt take the ties off until 3 weeks into flower so the branches canstiffin up. every time i untied while in veg or first wekk of flower i had to retie them back cuz they satrted to grow bck to normal and it was a crammed up plant

yes after the first few weeks of flower the stems will stiffin and stay in place for the most part. but i just leave mine tied i dont see any reason of takin em off unless its in my way

same here, but I lst 1st and position the plant the way I like it to grow then top a few weeks before 12/12, then re-tie when thrown into flower, for a few weeks and gives me a pretty nice canopy
