Thanks for hangin in there with me guys. Finally found some time to get some pics taken and do some work in the grow room.

Ill kinda tell the story as we go. Heres the pics.

Heres a group shot of the new strains from GHS. All beans germed so far and very fast too. I found that an overnight soak in a shot glass really speeds up the germ process. Even the ones that sank sprouted.

I only soak them for the night usually before i go to bed ill pop them in there own seperate labeled shot glass. When i get up in the morn while having my coffee i put them in the ziplocks in wet napkins. Usually by the time im ready for bd the same day they have started to crack. Moving on. I like to ramble can't you tell lol.

These are the 3 eldest purp clones. As you can see there health and happy lil ladies. Ive decided to get as many clones as i can ready for the outdoor season. But rest assured I will also be growing indoors hydro under my 2 600 HPS. Just not quite ready yet.

Mother purple. Shes getting large dispite my constant chopping for clones. I could top her and make her alot smaller if needed. For now ive got plenty of room so im just gone get as many clones off her as i can for the next month or so.

And yes peeps. Even though ive got those new strains started im still going purple in the hydro for my first run. If i fuck up ohh well. ill still have plenty outdoor purple going to so my ass is covered.

This was kinda an experiment to see how big of a cutting i could get to root. And so far this one is the biggest. It took about 10 days to start roots in the cloner. The stem was really long so i put it in a big pot st8 away. Want some hulks going out into the wild.

A look into the nursery 3/28/2010. Ive got 2 clone in each plug on most of the tray there. Got to get some more pots, Im slap out. The 2 in soil are purp clone i planted lastnite. Im out near out of the FF Big Bloom so i started feeding yesterday with the alaska fish fert. Some stankin ass shit. :spew:NPK 5-1-1 Should work well as a mild veg nute. Some of the yellowing leaves are perking up with the dose of N already.

Veggin under a single 600. Temps are rising daily in there. Going to have to cool it soon.

And last but not least the finale version of my diy ebb&grow/dwc hydro res and controller res. Ive also added a new clean 45 gal trash can as a back up res to the main. The newpump make tranfering mass quantities of fluid easy cheesy.:hump:

Well thats all for now my friends. Stay tuned. Things are going to get interesting. Peace out 1BMM:joint:

This one is only 3 days old. I cant fucking believe how fast its rooted, Jusy mind boggling.

I have determined that the best choice when cutting a clone is to go for stems that are about the thickness of a tooth pick, and are very flexible soft tissue. Now you can use thicker tougher stemmed cuttings. They will just take longer to root.

I am thinking im just going to let them root and veg in the cloner for a couple weeks till i can get the scratch up to get my Dutch Masters nutes.
easy bro hows it going? just after a little more info about ur caddy cloner :)

do the end of the fresh cuttings sit underneath the water? and do u use any nutes in the res? thanks, hope ur good?

edit - just saw ur update, looking smashing now u've got some colour in there bro ;)

Great update! You've got a lot of interesting stuff going on. Do you happen to remember which part of the mother you took that fast rooting clone off of? Also - looking at your seedlings - are they the same age, or different?

Hey laz. To answer your questions about the cady cloner, Ive been experiamenting with the lengths of the stems. Some ive submerged up to 2" and some are just barely above the water. I really cant say ive noticed any difference. They will root when there ready. Some just take longer than others.

I think the fast rooters like the one im holding in that picture is a real soft tip cutting. They are not easy to get. Usually by the time they are big enough to get cloned they are quite stiff and hardened.

And thanks for hangin Laz. Ill be swingin by your journal here when i get some free time.

I wish i could remember doe. I think it must have been the lowest branches since it was so small compared to the rest of the clones. Must have caught her in a growth spurt when i got that one.

As for the seedlings yes they are dif ages. The Lemon Skunk & Blue Widow are exactly one week older than the White Widow, Strawberry Haze & Trainwreck.

I wish id started em all the same. But i guess it dont matter as im shooting to make mothers out of all those seedlings.

sl2 is that a block of wood ???
Hahhhaaahhhaa I just about pissed myself. Thats funny. No they are not wood but sure as hell look like it. hhahahaa.
They are as MCP said kids foam building blocks. They seem to wrk fuking great. $5.00 for a whole shmogish board of shapes and sizes. Theres these bigger Squares and circle blocks that i may use to build a couple veg bubblers. :bigjoint:

I thought i may have read that somwhere only I thought the sinkers where the duds. Thanks for clearing that up MCP

:wall: Well that sucks IAm5toned hahaa. Theres plenty of shit out there in the world that would work just as well. Just have to keep ya eyes peeled when out in the stores. Youd be suprised the shit you can cobble to your needs for pennys compared to buying like you said at a hydro store where you get fucked with no greese lol.

i really really hate hydro stores.

Yep mechanics are the biggest fucking pukes. Most of there hustle income is from fuckin over the un knowledgeable. I do my own mehanic work when i need to. Its not my favorite thing to dabble in but i can fix about anything.

I use rootone rooting powder from the garden store. Its all ive used so far, and it seems to work well. Cost me $5.00 for a small bottle.

Yep all is well D. Been putting in some long hours this week trying to shave a few days off this job so we can get on to the next. Quite beat up and tired, but glad to be working again.

Sorry Las i think you asked that before and i forgot to answer. I dont use any nutes in the cloner at all. Some of the rooting powder mixes in with the water when the pump is on but thats it. I change the water every 10 days.

I may build a vegging bubbler that i will use nutes in. Well see.

As for the cave not much new. Just cloning as much as i can and getting as many purps rooted in soil as i can. I got 30 in the cloner at the moment and 5 already rooted in soil. I think that is all im gonna invest into the outdoor grow This year. Till I get outdoor growing down.

I figure out of 35 plants at least 20 of them I hope will make it to harvest without getting eatin by deer. Found or die from ailments. Next years run will probly be a big one lol.
