I need help. I needed to store my new plants somewhere else so i decided to turn a basic hamper into a small space for two plants. They were about two weeks old. I lined the hamper with foil and closed it off. I had one 75 W bulb over the two of them. I had it on all night, bout 20 hours before checking and found them this morning burnt up bad. My question is can i save them at all? If so whats the best way to do it. I know one is very very wilted the other looks salvageable! Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

They assuredly CAN still live based on those pictures, I would place a stake and tie them to it to prop them up. Then provide some idea conditions (Grow FAQ if you don't know them). Keep it cool, once they recover a bit and the stems grow give them a fan. Right now they are too weak for airflow methinks.

EDIT: Made it sound like they don't always need airflow. They need constant airflow, just don't place a fan directly on them until they can handle it.

give em a little time is the best thing. Let them sit in the dark for 6-12hrs and keep them cool and return them to their normal cycle. Make sure the substrate is moist. You will know pretty quick if/or which one will bounce back they are pretty resiliant but you need to have at least one green, healthy leaf to ensure survival

You can continue, they'll live, but they've been stressed and stunted now. If you start over now, you'll yield much more at harvest than if you continued with the disturbed younger genetics you caught fire to. :) It sucks to toss em, but the net return in the long run is more by starting over.

I would read the faqs until u understand them, then re read 2 more times. Then start over from scratch. Like the previous poster stated those plants are STTTRRREEECCCHHHEEEDDD.

Agreed, those things are stretched baaad. If you do try to save them, make sure you water them really well so they can rehydrate, especially the worst one. I'd still start some more if i were you, 'cause they're not looking very good.lol

These are non-stretched.... and i think they have the same number of nodes as yours...

You can do a lot better!!!

Edit: actually those are kinda stretched too.... now that i look at them, just not nearly as bad..

I'm sorry but you did like every single thing wrong possible. REad up on cfl growing. Google it...look on this site whatever.

You cannot use normal light bulbs to grow with. If you want bulbs...ONLY the spiral cfl type are any good.

You need a fan on the plants.

No aluminum foil ever. That is fail boat. A matte white is a gazillion times better. White paint...white anything really.

I'd start over...those plants look like death and stretched to hell. Sure you COULD save them...but why bother? You'd be lucky to get an eighth off of it...and that's IF it's even a girl.

Seriously...those are not worth it d00d.
