I'll go with the boonies, too. Big cities just wear me down. But that comes with age I guess. I am sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. He died way too young.

Now I will say I did earn a top notch education where I grew up because of the location, and having a car at 17 and living near NYC was the BOMB for me at that time in my life.... I'm lad I moved to the country as an adult.
I do see tons of kids out here who are living sheltered lives compared to how I grew up, and their education suffers for it, but that's the way it goes. i help them work things out as much as I can.

yes, tad went far too soon.... it was all that sausage. man could he make some wicked sausage and moonshine Vodka!!

Meth,

What up!?

Your grow looks like it is starting off nicely.

Looks like winter finally retreated. I switch between daylight and fluoros. Gotta get them used to the conditions outside. Slowly but surely. Sorry, no bud porn yet, they are still kids. Have a look at them.

Hola, good to have you on board! Belladonna's description appealed to me too. Seen some journals and she looked awesome (same can be said about satori). High reports also tickled my imagination. Just recently found a thread by UncleBen about his topping technique to get four even colas. I'm gonna give it a try with this lot.

UB's thread is awesome...and it definitely works.... I did it last year, I've always known about topping since I have grown all sorts of plants for many years now, but UB showed a specific way to get weed to pop 4 colas.

It works!!

I have one in my grow flowering room that I basically used UB topping method unknowingly and it did work pretty well. The only thing is I tried to FIM it and I just trimmed the leaves. The plant continued to grow normally and I tried it again and the same thing happened because I was leaving too much of the new growth tip. It grew back and at that point I had what looked like a clone so I just took a clone of it and it grew 4 main colas pretty much. Mine was small because of all the topping it takes a little while for the plant to recooperate from the topping so that's why it's so small. It was just a bagseed I didn't really intend to grow just experiment on but it's a female so I'm still growing it for my friend who gave me the seeds.

fuck I missed the FIM technique twice!

when life hands you lemons...

in the front the small one. Maybe not exactly the way it's done but the results were pretty much the same.

Not trying to threadjack or anything just thought it might help you. If I had just used UB's topping technique from the get I wonder how big the colas would have gotten this plant was flowered after the 3rd pic.

I used uncle bens method on my plant in the og purple kush journal. I am going to harvest it today and you can see what it looks like now in my avatar. Works great!

If you want a current picture of the plant now, I will post it here for you.

I'm glad y'all used UB's method and that it worked so well. Thanks for your pics PD. I'm gonna stick to topping and stay away from fimming which is pretty vague to me. As UB suggested I will grow them a few days more and then top above the 2nd node. Bellas are 1 node ahead at this point and more stout than satoris. Also each group has one taller plant which i'd love to see becoming a male. That'd make three females out of five. Hey, folk wisdom says that biggest plans are usually males, lol. MV feel free to post your pic, no probs at all. That's what it is all about. Sharing and learning:-P.

What's up! Topped 4 out of 5 plants 4 days ago above the second true node (UB method). Left one satori for now coz it was the least developed one. I'll top her tomorrow most likely. Some of the cotyledons started to fade and turn yellow. Looks like 2 more weeks of veg ahead of me.

Yesterday transplanted all plants into 3 gallon pots. I'll veg them for ca. 10 more days and then enter the flowering stage. Plants weren't rootbound yet. Bellas are short and satoris lankier.

Howdy everybody! Transplanting always speeds things up for me. Plants are getting bigger every day. Planned on inducing flowering on 4.20 which is tomorrow, unfortunately I'm late 5 days. They are still a bit small. So I'll put them into flowering chamber in 5/6 days. We have abundant sunshine over here for the last 3 days. Remember I rely on the sun solely which in my latitude (53,5N) is kind of risky to say the least. Now, on to the pics...
