Another 55-60 day goes by, bam, harvest time, all over again!!

Three of em are so large(30+inches tall), the thick ass stems are literally like a stem from a small tree.

I overvegged. :-|

Shoot, I didnt know they would turn out like that! :wall:

The GH nutes is doing the trick.
Now I gotta get the timing down.

At least 2 lbs..... maybe more... we'll see.

Gotta run to the heedro store, and grab some of dat Clearex today.

I finally got a good nights sleep, because I got caught up with everything.

Those ladies are looking lovely CG!

Quick questions about your GS.... I know you developed the strain, but is it clone only or have you ventured into the seed production side of things? Are you the only one growing it? I really like it's look!

I love experimenting, and I have decided to take a chance on one plant, and one plant only. :-o

Most of the old school, well seasoned farmers out there know its not a good idea to put this and that into our buckets, or reservoirs, or in soil that is completely unecessary.

Especially, all them "Snake oil additives":?

I dont even like adding ph up/down..Makes me nervous as hell.

And some growers actually like the plant's ph to go up and down, so that all the nutes/micros get a chance to do their thing.

Ive mentioned this many times,

The best grows/highest yielding plants I have ever grown was by using Peters 20-20-20 chemical ferts. in soil, And Peters Blossom Booster in the flowering stage... with nothing else except for a lil' Superthrive during veg.

They were always phat as hell!
Almost 5 oz's a plant in soil!!! :weed:

Thats a terrific soil yield per plant :)

And that was DRY weight.

You may hear people getting a pound a plant and all that, dont believe em..it rarely happens, unless there growing 7 foot tree's outside.

And Im not going down for a bunch of pot tree's in my back yard. :wall:

Got too much to lose for that risk. Thats not my cup of tea.

Not worth it. No Thanks.;-)

Cold handcuff's never turned me on.

I like to keep things ultra private under my roof. :)

In my case, They say Im legal because I have all the proper paperwork for medicinal use.

But who can you believe? Not Obama..Thats fer sure.

Anyways, The very first plant Ive ever grown was from cheap ass chemical ferts.

And that Girl made it in High Times magazine, and Cannabis Culture.

They even sent me a gift certificate.. heehee!

Truly amazing.. I was so proud of her! Just Peters Fert, No ph up or down, or anything else.

Ever since Peters sold out, Ive never been able to achieve the same health or yield.

It sux, but its true. :-|

I thought the dwc bubbler thing would surpass anything Ive done in the past.. But, so far... Nope.

I think I did alright with the fox farms, but honestly, Iam not 100% pleased by the results.

All that "shit" I dumped in them buckets couldn't have done my plants any good.

Too much adding this and that, and lots of ph up/down, Yada Yada yada..

And can you imagine how much I spent on Fox Farm Nutes.. The full line!?

Gotta remember I have 11 buckets running at the same time... And soon will be 15 at any given time!

After a while, I found out that Fox Farms nutes are unstable.. Thats my thoughts for that product.

And it made my experimental soil plants too green..didnt burn em a bit, but dark green?

I followed their feeding schedule religiously too...Oh well. :-|

And the big bloom made my roots an off white color. Pissed me off.

Ridiculous to say the least.

Bottom line= I FUCKIN' HATE ORGANICS!!! Im not a tree hugger!!!

I tried to convice myself for years that organics is the only way to go.. But, who am I kidding? Its just not for me.

In my honest opinion, Organics DOES NOT yield as much as Chemicals. I "finally" got it through my thick Head!!! :wall:

Im a chemical guy.. and thats that.

Growing Mj from chemical's is not bad.. You either flush it out, or you dry the buds fully, and cure em for a decent while.

The taste has always been excellant over here.

My friends bother the fuck outta me.. Must be doing something right.

I wanna keep growing Mj as simple/cheap as possible. :)

This guy is kinda like my role model.

He makes it look too easy. He's claiming to get nearly 6.6 oz's a plant with just a lil tweaking.>> http://www.weedbay.net/overgrow-thebook/Hydroponics/Art4.htm

I like his style..Less is more...Simplicity.

Anyways, I will be using the Lucas Formula, 0-8-16, with nothing else til I harvest this plant. :hump:

I will only top off the bucket with plain jane tap water, until the nute change.
No addback.. nodda.

I will change out the nutes every 2 weeks, and will add nothing but tap water from here on out.

Ive picked out a very healthy Glass Slipper plant in veg for this experiment.:weed:

My water here in the hills is decent.

It registers at 50ppm, and the ph is 6.5..
No need for distilled water, or a RO Setup.

So, lets give this experiment a try, shall we??

GH Flora series nutes.. Just Micro, and Bloom, and that is ALL!

A VERY low cost bucket grow. :)

GH nutes are very inexpensive.. Possibly the cheapest you can buy for hydro

Lets begin the experiment..

First of all, I dumped out the nutes.

I added 3 gallons of water to my 3 1/2 gallon veg buckets.

Added 24 ml of Micro, And 48ml of Bloom.

I hooked up my tri-meter, and it will tell us the ph, ppm, and res temp throughout this experiment.

Ok, Readings are:
1140 ppm
5.3 on the ph
67F nute temp.

Ill take readings everyday and post.

This should be exciting, and possibly the cheapest dwc bucket grow ever! :)

Who knows, May be the highest yielding plant outta the bunch!!

Never know.. :)

Weird things happen. ;-)

:peace: CG :)

Thanks Man :)

These are all Clones.

I put aside a batch of seeds for later use, or whatever.

As you probably know,

Its a Cinderella 99 x Unknown Huge Monster Indica.

The Monster smoke was simply top notch, and one day I decided to Cross it with a super potent Cindy strain.

This was 10 years ago, and back in them days, Cinderella was the talk of the grow sites.

It all worked out nicely.

The high is unbelievable. :eyesmoke:

Have not smoked anything like it, And I'm a well seasoned smoker.

Back in the day, a select number of experienced growers received the beans around the world.

And all I asked from them was a yield, and smoke report, and of course pictures.

I had a HUGE thread on Overgrow.. but now its gone...Just like the site.

Wish I would of kept all them pictures, but I got paranoid and destroyed em all.

Life goes on.

Have a Super day!! One day Ill make more, and Ill be able to send em out to some of the cooler people out there.

It'll happen. Watch :)

them r gonna be some prized seeds when u start producing them ur strain is bomb

Thanks redwolf,

Yea, Its gonna happen sometime in the future.

I would like to send em out to a few good friends here on this site.

But dont hold your breath, Its gonna be a while...

Probably after the Mj laws are at their lowest, or legal.

I dont wanna get in trouble Like Marc Emery.. Poor guy. :-(

I take my plants and put them ina fresh 5 of ro water and a clearing solution about every other nutz change. See anything wrong with that? They sit in that bucket for 15 minutes or so then back in a fresh batch of nutz?

Is your vegs time with the dwc 4 weeks also and what is the average amount of dryed product per plant? Thanks again!!
The plants that I have now in flowering, have been vegged somewhere around 6 weeks.

Not sure yet on the final weight,

This is my first hydro grow :)

I cant see anything wrong with that.

I let my plants bathe in a fresh bucket of water at every nute change.. My roots love it! :peace:

Have you ever tried the GH Vegan line.. its pretty new but i got some free bottles at a trade show in SF last year ( i never would have bought anything that said vegan on the bottle lol) but after i read the ingredients i realized that these were mostly chemical ferts (copper sulfate, potassium sulfate, sodium molybdenate to name a few) just no animal byproducts i guess but they market it all tree hugger save the whales green status so i think its a way to trick the organic only granola eating tree huggers into buying there products lol. But anyways I used just the bloom on some sorry ass clones i got from my buddy that i didnt even want he was just super broke i mean these things were sorry (pic below) but in 2 days they blew the F up and i could barely recognize them anymore after that I was sold. I only been buying the cal mag, grow and bloom they have a few other products in the line but i consider them unnecessary those more of the snake oil type additives cause they have the same exact ingredients as the grow and bloom so why would i need them too. Anyways if you like experimenting try that stuff on a plant or 2 and see how you like it.. im using it in soil myself. If you wanna check it out

Hello Jakeman,

Hmmmm very interesting..

Will check out the link you posted.

Yea, I wanna keep on growing with the smallest amount of anything... and of course no organics.

Went to my buddys house last night, and he's still messing with the Peters.

He has maybe one grow left of the Peters 20-20-20 I gave him a while back.

Blew my mind how good things were looking at his pad.

Im jealous!! Heeheehee!

But, its running out for him, so He'll have to search for something like it.

I went to the Peters site a lil while ago and they do have the 20-20-20 but its not anywhere around this area..

Fuckin' sux!!

So, Ill keep pluggin' away with what I got.. and I guess I couldn't use it anyways because Im in hydro.. so....

Anyways, as far as the experiment is concerned here's where we're at.

This is the second day now, and the ph has fallen

ph=4.6
ppm=1140
res temp=67f.

Plant is looking good.

So, we'll keep going :)

I looked in the flowering room, and I just now ran out of co2.

Lasted a good long while.

So off I go to the welding supply shop and get it refilled.

Chat with ya later, and Thanks so much for your post, and info.

CG :)

Do you adjust the PH daily in all your buckets or do you just let it fluctuate until you refill or change your reservoirs ?

cg i read on a thread today that ph drop is due to bacteria growth. if you clean everything and use h2o2 and hygrozyme it should fix you right up.
