New Grower, Many Questions

My seeds germinated, 3 Auto Ak-47, and I have put them into my soil and watered for the first time. They are in peat cups and I watered til water came out the bottom.

1. Is this the appropriate amount of water, til it flows out the bottom?

2. How frequently do I water?

3. When do I shift into bigger pots? (These peat pots are quite small)

4. Can I put fluorescent lights on them for a couple hours each night, but let them get most of their light from the sun during the day, or will this switch hurt them?

Any other advice would be great. Thanks to all.

1. That watering was fine. It should be kept moist until they sprout.
2. Auto's can be finicky, but generally only water after the soil has begun to dry out a bit - say the top inch or so.
3. Not an exact science on when to transplant. With peat pots (those are the really small ones right?) I would transplant after a couple of weeks.
4. I don't see any harm with the addition of flourescent lights this early in the season, but they are Autos. They will do their thing regardless of the light cycle. Most of the time, anyways.

Read the other auto threads/journals to learn from more experienced growers. Some folks on here don't like answering questions which make it appear as if you want to be spoon fed, rather than do a little basic research. This is a decent thread if you haven't already read it: https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/199319-autoflower-thread-resource-guide.html

Oh, go easy on the nutes. Most of them are sensitive to nutes.

If you have a digital camera, take pics as your grow progresses and create a journal in the appropriate section. Post the pics of your plants in your journal. It's easier to diagnose any problems if we can see what you're talking about.

Best of luck to you.
